Yunus Emre Mosque was opened in Germany

Yunus Emre Mosque, which was established by DITIB (Turkish Islamic Union of Religious Affairs) in Hamm City of Germany, has been opened with a splendid ceremony. The mosque has its minarets and the adhans (Muslim call to the prayer) will be recited by means of its loud speakers.

During the ceremony, Armin Laschet, Minister for Intergenerational Affairs, Family, Women and Integration in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, expressed that everyone should recognize that Islam is an inseparable part of Germany. Laschet also declared that he is going to take necessary steps to provide Islam religion lessons be included in the school curriculum.
