How do we see? It is a great miracle to be able to perceive the weak electricity transmitted to the brain as a 3 dimensional and clear image

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated February 15th, 2017

ADNAN OKTAR: The sense of sight is amazing. We see all the colors. The eye has a cloudy liquid. What kind of thing is the eye liquid?

OKTAR BABUNA: Just as you have said, it is cloudy, not to mention the fact that the optic nerve cells behind it are obstructed. Technically, it should be impossible to have sight. There are two layers of cells. Normally, fibers should have come out from behind, but for a reason, God makes them come out in the front. Optic cells are completely obstructed by fibers. There are two layers of cells. There are blood vessels as well which further obstruct vision. The eye liquid itself is not very clear either. In other words, it is technically impossible for vision to reach here.

ADNAN OKTAR: Isn't the eye liquid cloudy?

OKTAR BABUNA: It is.

ADNAN OKTAR: There is also the lens, which has a gristly, jelly-like texture.

OKTAR BABUNA: Yes, it is transparent but still like that.

ADNAN OKTAR: So, there is no such structure that can achieve such a clear image.

OKTAR BABUNA: There isn't. In fact, it is impossible for the eye to see as it is fully obstructed.

ADNAN OKTAR: Can you tell us more on that.

OKTAR BABUNA: The eye has a spherical shape with the optical nerves at the backmost part. Normally, it should have had a completely unobstructed view for the eye to interact with vision. However, there are two layers of cells in front of it. It is obstructed by two layers of cells. In front of these cells, there are fibers coming out of every single cell. God brought them all to the front of the eye, whereas they should have normally been concentrated at the back of it. These fibers also stand in the way of the eye. There are millions of nerve fibers.

ADNAN OKTAR: What is there in the backmost part of the eye?

OKTAR BABUNA: There is a nerve fiber coming out of the back of the eye that resembles a cable. This place is called "the blind spot." There are no vision-sensitive cells in there. This means that we normally do not see an area of 1-2 meters when we look straight ahead due to the fact that the nerve fibers, that cable comes out of the eye. That area does not correspond with any image.

ADNAN OKTAR: Where are these optic nerves?

OKTAR BABUNA: Optic nerves are located in front of the photoreceptors. In other words, they are on the light-receiving end. They obstruct the eye.

ADNAN OKTAR: Can you describe this on a spherical object? Let's consider this an eye; imagine that the light is coming from this side.

OKTAR BABUNA: The light is coming from this side. And here lies the lens. At its back lie the photoreceptors.

ADNAN OKTAR: Is that so? Do they lie completely behind the eye?

OKTAR BABUNA: Yes, at the backmost.

ADNAN OKTAR: Astonishing. What lies in the front then?

OKTAR BABUNA: The lens.

ADNAN OKTAR: No, not the lens. I mean what lies in front of the photoreceptors?

OKTAR BABUNA: There are two layers of cells in front of the photoreceptors obstructing their view. Additionally, there are millions of nerve fibers coming out of every single optic cell.

ADNAN OKTAR: And they are located at where your hand hangs down.

OKTAR BABUNA: Yes, they are.

ADNAN OKTAR: That area is solid, in other words, there is no room for light to pass through.

OKTAR BABUNA: There isn't. It is impossible for light to pass through. Moreover, the nerve fibers are not located in the back; they are located in front of the eye in a way that obstructs the eye.

ADNAN OKTAR: In addition to it, two layers of cells lie in there.

OKTAR BABUNA: There are two layers of cells, which makes it three layers in total. The eye is obstructed by optic nerve cells as well as two layers of cells.

ADNAN OKTAR: Photoreceptors are at the back of the eye.

OKTAR BABUNA: At the backmost part.

ADNAN OKTAR: This is completely inexplicable.

OKTAR BABUNA: Not to mention the fact that there are also forked blood vessels in front of it. The eye sees through these vessels.

ADNAN OKTAR: So, this means that vision has nothing to do with this. It is unbelievable. Eyesight is a direct occurrence. Besides, God created it in a way that can be easily understood by people. This has nothing to do with the eye. Because, the eye has to provide electrical signals to transmit the image. But the circumstances are most unfavorable for this transmission to occur. It is the most inconvenient camera system. Because a high-quality lens and a quite clear background is required to be able to achieve a relatively clean image; which would not be fully clean even so. Such a clean image could not be achieved even with a great camera or a high-quality lens. Because the image produced by the eye is three dimensional and very clean. The image is created directly. We should lay great emphasis on this subject. In fact, we should demonstrate this using a bigger, jar-like object. It is unbelievable. The image will fall on the eye, the eye will convert the image into electrical current and transmit it to the brain, and a sightless person in the brain will perceive this. Besides, the transmitted image electricity is of the lowest quality and watt. The eye that sees obviously does not need such weak electric signals. It does not need this at all. Furthermore, the fact that the electricity is perceived as an image is utterly unbelievable. An electrical current is received, and someone perceives it as an image. It is unbelievable. And a fluid image at that. An electrical current is received constantly, which is perceived by someone as a 3 dimensional and clean image. It is unbelievable. Vision is directly created by God.

Let me say now, some witless people think that I am asking all these questions because I am ignorant of this subject. But I employ this method so that even the most uneducated person can comprehend it. Some obtuse people will say, "Look at him; he is just learning about it." I am the author of the book titled "Miracle in the Eye."

OKTAR BABUNA: Mr. Oktar, we have the leaflet published by you 35 years ago regarding evolution theory. You wrote about this issue under the title, 'the truth behind the matter," at the last chapter of the leaflet.

ADNAN OKTAR: I am explaining it in layman's terms so that everyone can comprehend it well. This is the best method to understand it. They cannot understand in when told in a literary style. I am explaining it in this way so that people can understand it. I will use this method of questioning again in the future. This is the best way to comprehend it. It would incomprehensible otherwise.

OKTAR BABUNA: Mr. Oktar, you have asked the most well-known experts on the subject. When you explained it in this way, their answer was; "Let's avoid this subject."

ADNAN OKTAR: "Let's avoid this subject." Let's avoid this, let's avoid that. This simple method of explaining is the best method of spreading religion. This way, the subject can be easily understood by a grandpa, and by the intellectual college student, or the associate professor. All can easily understand it. No one can say it is too complicated to understand. Otherwise, if we read it from a book, they would not understand it. In some cases, even a professor might fail to understand and see the underlying reason. Here, we also emphasize the wisdom behind it as well.
