MR. ADNAN OKTAR’S EXPLANATIONS FROM THE GOSPEL
Look, what Jesus (pbuh) says in Matthew 16; “Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky”. For example Jesus (pbuh) says; "When it is evening, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.' "And in the morning, 'There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?
He says, “Can’t you discern the signs of the End Times?” There are so many signs, our Prophet (saas) has said. All the signs are obvious. He says “...cannot you discern?” It didn’t suit their book.
Then He warned the disciples that they should tell no one that He was the Christ. (Matthew, 16:20)
So then what will he say when he comes for the second time? “Don’t tell here and there that I am the Christ. Do not attempt this, we would be in trouble.” This is a sign from the Gospel.
VERSES FROM THE QUR’AN STATING HOW MUSLIMS SHOULD UNITE
Surat Al-Anbiya, verses 92-92:
“This nation of yours is one nation and I am your Lord, so worship Me. But they disagreed and split into different sects. Each one will return to Us”.
God says “...they disagreed”. “Each one will return to Us”, “...and I will take revenge” says God. And they say “Mercy”. For division God says “Fitna”, “Trouble”. But they say; “No, it is mercy”.
Surah Al ‘Imran, verse 103
“Hold fast to the rope of God all together, and do not separate. Remember God’s blessing to you when you were enemies and He joined your hearts together so that you became brothers by His blessing. You were on the very brink of a pit of the Fire and He rescued you from it. In this way God makes His Signs clear to you, so that hopefully you will be guided.”
“Hold fast to the rope of God all together, and do not separate.” Where is controversy in this verse? Does God say fall out with each other? On the contrary, “Hold fast to the rope of God all together”. “Do not separate” says God.
Surat Al-Anfal, verse 39
“Fight them until there is no more trouble and the religion is God’s alone. If they stop, God sees what they do.”
“Fight them until there is no more trouble and the religion is God’s alone” says God to the Muslims. What is trouble?
“Until there is nothing against Islam” and “Until the religion is God’s alone”, God says; “Fight until Islam is lived all around the world”. What do they do? “They say controversy is mercy”. God wills Islam to prevail all around the world, there they talk about controversy.
Surat Al-Anfal, verse 46
“Obey God and His Messenger and do not quarrel among yourselves lest you lose heart and your momentum disappear. And be steadfast. God is with the steadfast.”
“Obey God and His Messenger and do not quarrel among yourselves lest you lose heart and your momentum disappear.”
Look, now this is happening; the Muslims lost their heart and their momentum disappeared.
“And be steadfast. God is with the steadfast.”
Surat Ash-Shura, verse 39.
“Those who, when they are wronged, defend themselves.”
God says; “All the Islamic world should unite”. In Surah Ash-Shura, verse 39, God says, at a place, for example in Syria, when there are some people being harmed, all the Islamic world should unite and they should defend it together. God doesn’t say to stir up controversy here.
Surah As-Saff, verse 4
“God loves those who fight in His Way in ranks like well-built walls.”
How should a Muslim be? Aside from controversy; God says like a reinforced building, like well-built walls. That close. For example, a bridge is made up of ranked and well-built stones: You cannot even take one stone out. God says “...fight without separating, without taking out any stones, and in ranks like well-built walls”. God says; “Do not separate”, “Do not stir controversy”.2013-10-21 00:59:52
