Explanations of verses from Surah Furqan and Surat Al-Kahf by Mr. Adnan Oktar

Surah Furqan, Verse 30

"The Messenger says, 'My Lord, my people treat this Qur'an as something to be ignored'."

That is a verse which explains the affliction that happens in the End Times. All Muslims should keep this verse in their minds every single day. That is a verse which explains the reason for the scourges that are cast upon the Muslim world. This explains the reason behind the troubles Muslims are suffering from. One single verse and it explains everything completely. Our Prophet (saas) makes a complaint: Our Prophet (saas) has only one complaint and no other. This has been stated with marked importance in the Qur'an because it is a great incident, because it is a grave disaster, because it is a grave affliction lasting for centuries, because it is the main reason ruining the Islamic world, the Qur'an defines this as very important, as the sole complaint of our Prophet (saas). "The Messenger says, 'My Lord, my people.. " everyone who lived in that period, everyone around our Prophet (saas) back then. ".. treat this Qur´an as something to be ignored'."  That means there is a reference to the End Times here, because in the time of our Prophet, as you well know, the Qur'an was not treated as something to be ignored. There was complete obedience to the Qur'an and the Qur'an was lived by in the most complete sense. But as a miracle our Prophet (saas) explains the grave disaster that will take place after his time. He says, "My Lord, my people.. " meaning Arabs, Muslims; we are all the people of our Prophet (saas) and we are the ones who are subjects to him.  This is the reason of the disaster in Egypt. The reason for all those troubles in Iraq, in Syria, in Afghanistan and all around is the people of our Prophet (saas) treating the Qur'an as something to be ignored. Our Prophet (saas) foretells of this  grave disaster which will take place in the End Times back in his time through revelation.  God knows the truth; this refers to the End Times along with his own period.

Surat Al-Kahf, Verse 56

We only send the Messengers to bring good news and to give warning. Those who are unbelievers use fallacious arguments to deny the truth. They make a mockery of My Signs and also of the warning they were given.

''We only send the Messengers to bring good news and to give warning." They bring good news. They bring the good news of the Islamic Union, they bring the good news of Jesus Messiah (pbuh), they bring the good news of  Heaven. And they are also warning people.  ''Those who are unbelievers use fallacious arguments to deny the truth." What are fallacious arguments? Invalid information. Darwinists, materialists are trying to do this day and night. How do they do this?  They are using fallacious arguments to deny the truth.  They give money, they give means, they hire halls, they open universities, they open schools. They strive and give a struggle in this way.  "They make a mockery of My Signs." The verses of the Qur'an .. "...and also of the warning they were given," says God. Log in and have a look at the internet, you will see that they are making a mockery of these things. Look, that is why God says ;

Surat Al-Kahf, Verse 57

Who could do greater wrong than someone who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord and then turns away from them, forgetting all that he has done before? We have placed covers on their hearts, preventing them from understanding it, and heaviness in their ears. Though you call them to guidance, they will nonetheless never be guided.

'' We have placed covers on their hearts, preventing them from understanding it.. " Then people ask, "Why do these people not understand?" Actually God says, "That is how I created them to be.”  That is the Secret Knowledge (Ilm Al-Ladun). "... and heaviness in their ears. Though you call them to guidance, they will nonetheless never be guided.'' That holds true for all eternity. What does all eternity mean? God says, "I have created them just like this." That is the meaning of infinity. God says, "This is how they are created," says God. That doesn't change even if a trillion or two trillion years pass by.   God says, "That is how it will be for all eternity." That is highly significant, their being like that for all eternity. The Qur'an also refers to how cruel the End Times will be. That is because Surat Al-Kahf refers to the End Times.

Surat Al-Kahf, Verse 59

Those cities: We destroyed them when they did wrong and fixed a promised time for their destruction.

''Those cities: We destroyed them when they did wrong and fixed a promised time for their destruction." Look now;  Egypt is devastated, Afghanistan is devastated, Iraq is devastated, Libya is devastated. "Those cities: We destroyed them when they did wrong" The rulers are doing wrong; some people are doing wrong. And God says; "... we destroyed them and fixed a promised time for their destruction." That is why before the destruction a meeting will be held with Hazrat Khidr's (pbuh) participation, and destruction comes after this.

Surat Al-Kahf, Verse 61

But when they reached their (the two seas) meeting-place, they forgot their fish which quickly burrowed its way into the sea.

"But when they reached their meeting place.." the number two is mentioned all the time. "When they reached their meeting place.." The abjad calculation of this part of the verse gives the year 1984, the first operating years of the system of the Mahdi. ".. they forgot their fish which quickly burrowed its way into the sea." There is a current in the sea. Normally there should be no visible current in the sea; there are waves in the sea. But the Qur'an draws attention to the current in the Bosphorus. "...their (the two seas) meeting place." That is one reference to Istanbul with a mention of the Bosphorus and also there is the reference to a current and this is the second reference.

Surat Al-Kahf, Verse 63

He said, ´Do you see what has happened? When we went to find shelter at the rock, I forgot the fish. No one made me forget to remember it except satan. It found its way into the sea in an amazing way.´

"He said, ´Do you see what has happened? When we went to find shelter at the rock, I forgot the fish. No one made me forget to remember it except satan." That means that satan has such an influence on forgetfulness. Who lives in a rocky place? Whose residence will be on a rocky ground? That is a whole other issue. The Qur'an drew attention to this as well. "It found its way into the sea in an amazing way." That means the fish opens a way in the sea. Look,"a way": It opens its own way. It is also very meaningful that it draws attention to a main road in the sea. Actually fish do not need a road as they can go anywhere. But here there is a reference to a special place. "Its own way.." It goes through this way inside the sea.  That is also a reference to the End Times, for those who understand. Everything is explained in an alluded-to manner in the Qur'an.

Explanations of an hadith by Mr. Adnan Oktar

"When the Qaim, Mahdi (pbuh) appears, those who think themselves as the followers of the Mahdi will turn away from him. Those who remained outside religion until then, would come to believe the Mahdi (pbuh)..”

That is really amazing. It means that Mahdi will not have followers among the radicals. Atheists will come and become the students of the Mahdi. Christians will come and become the students of the Mahdi (pbuh) or those who know nothing about religion will come and become the students of the Mahdi. That is how it will be. I mean his students will be from among the people. They are not coming from a radical background or they are not readily religious people. And of course there are genuinely devout, good people among the religious people; we are considering all of them free from this.
