(Bediuzzaman - Letters; 370- 371)

Bediuzzaman says something that has very newly attracted my attention: “Eighty percent of the human beings are not people of inquiry and investigation.” They are not investigative he says, “... to attain the truth and recognize the truth as the truth.”  What does eighty percent mean? It means almost all of them. Only twenty percent of them can be named as people of inquiry and investigation.

Based on their good assumptions, it may be they accept what they hear from acceptable and reliable people by imitating the example."  Meaning they take acceptable and trustworthy people as role models  and take after them by imitating them.

What is more they regard a powerful truth as weak in the hands of a weak person."  That, for instance, is an important point. We are talking about the hadiths of our Prophet (saas). But if these miracles we've been talking about were to be presented by the most influential media organs of the world, they would shake the world. "What is more they regard a powerful truth..." For instance, a great miracle of our Prophet (saas). "...as weak, in the hands of a weak person." So they say "These are not important." We are talking about the hadiths of our Prophet (saas) and say that they have been realized exactly as foretold by our Prophet (saas) but they regard it as something weak. ".. and if they were to see a trivial matter in the hands of a worthy person.." a trivial matter, for instance, something that one should not even take notice of, were to be held by a "worthy person.."  A worthy person or an important media organ, an important news agency were to cover that matter, "… they regard it as a worthy matter." They see it as an important matter, meaning they attach importance to that. What is meant here by a "Worthy person" is an important news source; the sources that shake the world when they announce something.

"And based on this, in order to avoid depreciating the worth of the facts of faith and the Qur'an..." facts leading to faith and the miracles of the Qur'an, "... in the hands of a weak and worthless wretched person like myself, in the eyes of the general public, I would have to declare that someone is employing us without us knowing or willing."   Meaning Almighty God employs us, he says; "...and without us knowing, He makes us work on important matters." I am not even aware of it, but Almighty God makes me work, he says.

"The proof we have is that, without us being aware or willing, we are granted the Help... " the Help of Almighty God "… and all sorts of benefits. If that is the case, we have to declare that help in a loud voice." We have to explain those blessings of Almighty God to everyone.

MR. ADNAN OKTAR'S EXPLANATIONS OF HADITHS REGARDING HAZRAT MAHDI (PBUH)

"Without your Imam and Guide (Mahdi) what will your situation be when you hate each other? You will be intensely refined by then; you will be distinguished and eliminated. There will be famine. One will be a leader in the morning and then killed in the evening." (Awaited Mahdi, Allama Baqir Al-Majlisi, Biharul Anwar, Volume 13 (Old Edition)/ Volume 52-52-53 (New Edition))

That actually is something seen in the End Times. They make someone a leader and then kill him immediately. That has happened in Iran, in Lebanon and in many other places. This has happened in many places in the Arabic countries. One after the other; leaders being killed in a flash is something that coincides with the End Times.

EXPLANATIONS OF THE VERSES FROM SURAT AL-KAHF BY MR. ADNAN OKTAR

In Surat Al-Kahf, God mentions two children whose parents are Muslims. One of them is the dajjal (anti-christ). The verse states; "We feared that he would darken their days with excessive insolence and unbelief."  Look, this is an excessively insolent person in unbelief and he uses force. These are all characteristics of the anti-christ; insolence and unbelief. And that makes people worry and fear. "We feared" says Khidr (pbuh). But there is also the mention of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). A mention of a child with the temperament of the Mahdi: What is his specialty? He is pure and clean. That is his first characteristic; clean, pure both bodily and spiritually. And secondly he is benevolent. Thirdly he is compassionate. These are all the characteristics of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).

There is a mention of a wall. Everything has been explained with symbols. Those who look carefully into the Qur'an will see all the secrets of the system of the Mahdi in the Qur'an. There is a wall.  And the Qur'an states that there is a treasure underneath that wall. The ark of the Prophet Solomon (pbuh) is underneath that wall. That is a wall somewhere.

There are two orphans in the city. One of them is Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and the other is the Prophet Jesus Messiah (pbuh). Both of them are orphans: That is because the Prophet Jesus Messiah (pbuh) doesn't have a father anyway. And in the accounts it is stated that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will lose his father when he is young.

Look, the verse states; "underneath".  ".. There was a treasure underneath it." That is a treasure belonging to the Prophet Jesus Messiah (pbuh) and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). "Their father was one of the righteous..." Who is their father? Our Prophet (saas). When will they find that Holy Ark and the holy relics? When they come of age. I mean, there is a time that God will make them live through and progress in good morality. And when the time comes, the verse state that they will; "... unearth their treasure as a mercy from your Lord." That means they will unearth their treasure themselves. I mean that treasure will not be found when they are not there looking. The treasure will be found during a search they will attend. They will witness the finding of that treasure. Both Jesus Messiah (pbuh) and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will be among the searching group.

"They continued until they boarded a boat.. " Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and Jesus Messiah (pbuh) together. And there is a boat where they are. They are at the Bosporus, there are boats all around. And there is something specifically stressed on. What is emphasized is that people will not be able to bear with what Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) does. They will not be able to bear with him. They will be surprised. They will have objections. That is intensely emphasized in the Qur'an. "He said, ‘Did I not tell you that you would not be able to bear with me?’" (Surat Al-Kahf; 75)

An important characteristic of Surat Al-Kahf, as you know, is that it has 110 verses. And it is the 18th Surah. 110X18=1980: It gives the date 1980. The appearance date of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).

And in the 81st verse, there is the mention of the coming of a pure, compassionate child.

(Surat Al-Kahf, 84)

"We gave him power and authority on the earth and granted him a way to everything."

"We gave him power and authority on the earth." It means up until then, there were some Powers in the world but none of them had the authority. None of the Powers in the world are sound and authorized. The authorized power will be in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).  "... and granted him a way to everything."  We granted him ways to everything, We granted him all sorts of means, all sorts of technological means and all sorts of facileness.

(Surat Al-Kahf, 90)

"Until he reached the rising of the sun and found it rising on a people to whom We had not given any shelter from it."

In the 90th verse, the sun rises on a people. Insha'Allah, there might be a reference to A9 in this verse. That is because it presents beauty and knowledge to people. Of course, there are many meanings to it, but because we are a channel serving  the system of the Mahdi, there is also a sign in  that.

(Surat Al-Kahf, 93)

"… Until he arrived between the two barriers where he found a people scarcely able to understand speech." The abjad calculation gives the year 2013. “...until he arrived between the two barriers.” For instance, Marmaray is a barrier to two seas. You name the dam which is made and which prevents water from passing by a barrier It stops the flow of water. There are two barriers; one to go, and one to come back. What is said in the verse? “...he arrived between the two barriers.” Meaning he reached the entrance. There are also signs in this. There are two barriers that protect from the sea. The access point where people enter and where people exit; one for going, one for returning. This means he reached the main gate. There is also a sign in this.

(Surat Al-Kahf, 94)

"They said, ´Dhu´l-Qarnayn! Yajuj and Majuj are causing corruption in the land. Can we, therefore, pay tribute to you in return for your constructing a barrier between us and them?"

That means there is anarchy at that time. There is bloodshed all over the world, there is terror. That is a reference to everyone who terrorizes people and sheds blood.

(Surat Al-Kahf, 91)

"Our knowledge encompasses all that happened to him."

Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will also have knowledge that encompasses all that happened. He will not get into needless details and get sucked in these details like some other scholars. He will encompass the essence of things; he will explain the wisdom behind it. He would thus be explaining everything in a short and concise manner. That will also be true for religion. He will also be explaining Islam sententiously with wisdom. Consequently, the ummah will not be suffocated with unnecessary details. That is because satan suffocated the ummah, the majority of the ummah, with unnecessary details. And the satan played a trick, a trick against Islam and that will be annihilated, insha'Allah.
