Explanations of verses related with being forgiving by Mr. Adnan Oktar
Surat Al-Maidah, Verse 13
But because of their breaking of their covenant, We have cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort the true meaning of words and have forgotten a good portion of what they were reminded of. You will never cease to come upon some act of treachery on their part, except for a few of them. Yet pardon them, and overlook. God loves good-doers.
"You will never cease to come upon some act of treachery on their part, except for a few of them." What does treachery mean? The verse states; "You will never cease to come upon some act of treachery..." Yet Almighty God says; "Yet pardon them and overlook." So God tells us to pardon them, even if they act treacherous, "… and overlook" He says. Do not care, simply overlook it, He says. "God loves good-doers." So God says that good-doers will be protected anyway; God says that He will protect them.
Surat Al-Araf, Verse 199
Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant.
Make allowances for people, command what is right in Islam, say things that are compliant with the Qur'an and turn away from the ignorant. Do not deal with the ignorant. Do not get into a battle of words with the ignorant.
Surat An-Nur, Verse 22
Those of you possessing affluence and ample wealth should not make oaths that they will not give to their relatives and the very poor and those who have made hijra in the way of God. They should rather pardon and overlook. Would you not love God to forgive you? God is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
" Those of you possessing affluence and ample wealth should not make oaths that they will not give to their relatives and the very poor and those who have made hijra in the way of God " God says that they should not stop giving them their possessions and money. " Look, God says that they should help them financially, and even if there is a mistake done, God says that they should pardon and overlook it. There might be some mistakes, but there is no need to confront them; try to save them, show them the way to salvation. Do not try and crush them. Almighty God says; "...Would you not love God to forgive you?" We would love God to forgive us. "God is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful." If you want God to forgive you, you should be forgiving as well, you should not be vindictive. They will be given whatever punishment they deserve and they will serve that time, but the rest is enough, there is no need to hold a grudge, or feel hatred or desire revenge. If they repent later on, they will be your brother.
EXPLANATIONS OF HADITHS BY MR. ADNAN OKTAR
"Being at odds with each other and resentment," says our Prophet (saas), "- I am not saying that these two root away hair-, they root away religion.” So he says that there will be no religion if you do not make peace and keep being at odds with each other. There will be no religion left, he says. God will annihilate religion, he says. Would a Muslim ever want religion to be annihilated? Then "...make peace," says Almighty God. That is from Tirmidhi.
“Do not feel hatred against each other, do not feel jealous about each other, do not turn your backs against each other, and do not break off relations with each other, O servants of God! Become brothers and sisters!”
"Abandoning a brother of his for more than three days is religiously unlawful for a Muslim." Three days have passed already: That is not acceptable. This is from Bukhari, Muslim, Riya us-Salihin, page 930. "It is religiously unlawful for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than three days," says our Prophet (saas): Three days and three nights. If you do not make peace, it is religiously unlawful says our Prophet (saas).
The hadith states; "Almighty God would not forgive those who are at odds with their brothers in religion, unless they make peace with them." (Muslim, Riya Us-Salihin, p.946) However Almighty God says; "Truly God forgives all wrong actions except for associating partners for Him" I mean they will first have to make peace. For instance, one says; "Astagfirullah, astagfirullah"; alright, but you haven't made peace yet, first make peace, then say "Astagfirullah," because God says that He will not accept repentance of such people. May God forbid, it would be acting against God. That is because you would be committing an unlawful act, and first you need to give up that unlawful act.
"A Muslim's devotion to another is like a single building with firmly welded structures," says our Prophet (saas) as accounted in Muslim. Look, do you see how my dear Prophet (saas) talks in line with the verses of the Qur'an? He speaks just like the verse of the Qur'an, because the Qur'an is his soul.
Our Prophet (saas) says; "In the End Times, what you are expecting will not be realized before you get bored of each other; before you curse each other and you scream to each other's faces and before you accuse each other of being unbelievers." And the Companions say; "What is positive about that?" "There surely is something positive about this because the Qaim Mohammad Mahdi you've been waiting for in the End Times will appear, and all these issues will come to an end," says our Prophet (saas), insha'Allah
"You will get bored of each other; your love for each other will lessen," he says. They get bored of the government, the others get bored of the Community, and they get bored of their cause. And because they get bored, they want them gone.
