(In response to the question, “Can someone who is married ask Allah for someone else as his companion in the hereafter?”)
Such painful things happen. Young girls go off and marry bovine men they do not love or like. They put up with those foul and stinking guys because of pressure from their families or society. But their hearts will be very different with someone of faith, whom they love very much. “I wish I could be with them in the hereafter,” they say. No woman is obliged to be married to anyone. If she sees no fear of Allah in a person, if they lack faith, moral values and character, then divorce is lawful. You get divorced, and that is that. But the other way you just waste your life. You will suffer for a lifetime, and for nothing. What is the point? If you do not like his moral values, personality and character, and if there is no spark between you? If you love that person with your heart and faith, as a manifestation of Allah, if you believe you will be happy together in the hereafter, then marry them. What is the problem? You cannot say, “What is done cannot be undone.” If you married them once, you can divorce them once, insha’Allah. You are under no obligation.
A liar is a very peculiar creature to me. Who resembles a robot, not a human being. What need is there to lie? You just say, “I do not want to tell you.” Why lie? You say, “I do not want to talk about this subject,” and that is quite legitimate. But lies are very bad. There is no excuse for them.
(In response to the question, “Is it a sin to donate one’s organs after death?”)
Why should it be a sin? You will earn huge merit from it. How wonderful, someone will be able to see. But they take them while the person is still alive, and that is unacceptable. Brain death has to take place. The brain has to be completely dead. If the brain is dead, then that is fine. That person is genuinely dead. The body can be made to move about, but brain death is essential. Or the brain may be blown to bits, may Allah forbid. And that is then fine. That person is dead. You can take the liver and transplant it into someone else, and the eyes and the heart, and that is all wonderful. You earn great merit from that. Why just bury it under the ground, where it will all rot away?
(Clarifications from Surat al-Furqan)
56- We sent you only to bring good news and to give warning. Abjad [numerological] calculation gives a date of 1980.
57- Say: ‘I do not ask you for any wage for it – only that anyone who wants to should make his way towards his Lord.’
Almighty Allah constantly emphasizes in the Qur’an that no self-interest must be sought in preaching, because that is something that has a seriously negative effect on people.
58- Put your trust in the Living [Allah] Who does not die and glorify Him with praise. He is well aware of the wrong actions of His servants:
How well Allah speaks, first providing that information and creating ease in people’s hearts; “Who does not die”. Human beings die, but Allah does not. Not for all time. He lives for ever, and is omniscient, “the Living.” “Place your trust in (Allah).” How excellent. “and glorify Him with praise,” alhamdulillah. “He is well aware of the wrong actions of His servants:” Allah creates them, so He knows.
59- He Who created the heavens and the earth and everything in between them in six days, and then established Himself firmly on the Throne; the All-Merciful – ask anyone who is informed about Him.
In six days. In other words, Almighty Allah says that He created the heavens and earth in six periods, in six intervals of time.
69- and on the Day of Rising his punishment will be doubled and he will be humiliated in it timelessly, for ever,
Humiliation. That is one of the punishments inflicted on the unbeliever in the hereafter. Humiliation by Allah. But we will of course see what the torment of hell is when we are in the hereafter. Because we will have the true and genuine appearance of all things in the hereafter. Everyone will see. People wander around and talk in hell, and there are the flames of hell, “rising even above their chests.” But we see they speak very calmly. They do not use an excited way of speaking. But they mock and gossip about one another. It is not the idea of hell we are familiar with. We imagine a place of raging fires. Not so. Because one could never speak in such a fire. The pain would be paralyzing. But these people talk and spread corruption in the flames. We cannot know. It is very odd. But we can see it is what makes them most uncomfortable, and what they most envy in paradise. We will often see that torment. “Tell your Lord to give us what they [the people of paradise] eat and drink.” We can tell they are unhappy there. They want to leave. They want a way out.
72- those who do not bear false witness and who, when they pass by worthless talk, pass by with dignity;
Look, Allah forbids the telling of lies. Lying is very unpleasant. ‘those... who, when they pass by worthless talk, pass by with dignity.’ We see that on the television, two hours of empty gossip. Change the channel. Passing by does not necessarily refer to walking. You press the remote and avoid whatever is on, insha’Allah.
73- those who, when they are reminded of the Signs of their Lord, do not turn their backs, deaf and blind to them;
Some people pretend not to realize. Some pretend to be blind. But Allah tells us not to pretend to be blind and deaf or pretend not to understand. He says that His commandment is explicit, and we must understand and obey it.
74- those who say, ‘Our Lord, give us joy in our wives and children and make us a good example for those who fear Allah;
In other words, those who say make us the leaders of Muslims. According to the Qur’an, does wanting to be him make one the Mahdi? So all Muslims must prepare themselves to be leader. They must pray to Allah for the moral values and deep faith to be the Mahdi, insha’Allah.
75- such people will be repaid for their steadfastness with the Highest Paradise, where they will meet with welcome and with ‘Peace’.
What will people delight in most? Peace and security. They will be met with greetings. “Welcome, Salamun Alaykum,” they will be told. Such people “will be rewarded” with paradise. There will be conversation there, and love, and beauty and food and drink.
76- They will remain in it timelessly, for ever;
There was a religious teacher the other day who said, “there is no eternal life in paradise.” So where does it end? What happens when it ends. Why should it end? Imagine it ends after a million years, in his eyes. What is the purpose there? It is amazing how stupid some people can be. “They will remain in it timelessly, for ever,” it says. For ever. I fail to understand these people. May Allah grant them common sense. “…what an excellent lodging and abode!” says Allah.
77- Say: ‘What has My Lord to do with you if you do not call on Him?’ Prayer is very important. ‘But you have denied the truth, so punishment is bound to come.’
He has denied the Qur’an, so punishment for that is inevitable.
How could an intelligent, rational person deny Allah? Anyone with a clear mind can see. He sees a bright, 3D world inside his own brain. He hears sounds clearer than on even the best stereo. And what should a person with normal intelligence say in the face of this? He sees a glass, and Allah has created that glass in his brain. What will any rational person say to that? “Allah created it,” he will say. When we ask about the glass, he will say a factory made it. But Who creates it in his head? Allah. Forget about the one in the factory. You cannot even see it. You have no direct experience of the factory glass. Allah also creates that, separately. But you encounter an image of it. But your direct experience of the glass in the factory is severed, you have no such contact, zero. Now, the glass was made in the factory, wasn’t it? There is a transparent glass out there. But it has not the slightest thing to do with the glass in your brain. That is a glass consisting of a brand new image. It has absolutely nothing to do with the other one. That one still exists on the outside, but it is of no use to anyone. There is one glass, that which one sees in one’s brain. Who creates it? Allah. But some people are obsessed with the one on the outside. The glass on the outside is dark and transparent. And Allah creates that, too. But it is of no use to them in that sense. There is one glass, the one on the brain, and that is directly created by Allah. There is no need for that glass on the outside. They imagine that this glass cannot be created without the one on the outside. He creates them both separately. Look the glass on the outside and the glass in the brain are created separately. There are two creations. “The Lord of the two Easts..” says Almighty Allah. Almighty Allah speaks of two worlds in the Qur’an. People do not realize that the glass in the brain is created separately. They imagine it is created dependent on the other. But they are actually separate. You admit the factory, don’t you? Yes. Now this is created independently. So how does that come about? Allah created that, too. So Who created the one in the factory? Allah created that, as well. Simple as that. But if you go around denying that and giving the impression of being a crazy, then you will be punished for it in the hereafter, of course. And pretending to be crazy will not save you there.
(In response to the question “Will the wound on the Mahdi’s brow be there from birth or appear subsequently?”)
It could be either. Both are compatible with the hadiths. It could appear afterward, or it could be there from birth. Why not? But in my opinion, since it refers to a scar, it probably appeared subsequently.
My dear brothers say, “There are tribes in Africa that the faith has never reached.” Look, Muslims are created with the Qur’an. In the same way they are created with hair, eyes, ears and noses. They are also created with the Qur’an. The Book will always reach a believer. And the people there. If their consciences are clear and their hearts are pure, Allah will send a spiritual guide from the other end of the world, and it will definitely reach them.
Surat al-Kahf, 28:
“Restrain yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, desiring His face.” What do we want? The Islamic Union we are waiting for so patiently. “Do not turn your eyes from them, desiring the attractions of this world.” “Do not turn your eyes from them” He says. Your eyes must always be on those who espouse the truth. You must not look elsewhere. “Do not turn your eyes from them...” Your eyes must be on whoever talks about Allah, the Qur’an, Islamic Union, the way of the Mahdi and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and the love of the Companions. Do not look elsewhere, He says.
“And do not obey someone whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance.” He has fallen into heedlessness and forgotten to remember Allah. Turn on whatever channel you like and you will see that. “…and who follows his own whims and desires” who chooses his own path outside the Qur’an, Islam and Islamic Union “and whose life has transgressed all bounds.” In other words, do not obey someone who is not on the path of the Qur’an.
“Say: ‘It is the truth from your Lord; so let whoever wishes be a believe and whoever wishes be an unbeliever’.” Democracy and freedom of ideas. Do you see? You can have faith or be an unbeliever, as you wish.
“We have prepared for the wrongdoers a Fire whose billowing walls of smoke will hem them in.” Allah says they are now behind walls, that the walls of hell have surrounded them. But they are unaware of it now.
“If they call for help, they will be helped with water like seething molten brass, frying their faces. What a noxious drink! What an evil repose!”
A water that causes torment. “What a noxious drink! What an evil repose!” …” says Almighty Allah.
“But as for those who believe and do right actions,” those who have faith and do good deeds. They are sincere and preach, they spread Islam and are scrupulous over what is lawful and unlawful, and they pray.
“We will not let the wage of good-doers go to waste.”
Allah says He has it all recorded.
“They will have Gardens of Eden with rivers flowing under them. They will be adorned in them with bracelets made of gold and wear green garments made of the finest silk and rich brocade, reclining there on couches under canopies. What an excellent reward! What a wonderful repose!” says Almighty Allah. He says that is how it is in paradise.2012-02-20 12:38:22
