Highlights from Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on 10 December 2012

(In an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), one of Germany’s main dailies, Fethullah Hodja stated that Christians and Jews could live together in peace. He described how modernity, in other words, reason, science, freedom of belief and thought and legal and democratic methods, was not incompatible with Islam. He also went on to say that there was no compulsion in Islam, which is based on respect for all, be they atheists or believers.)

This is most excellent. This is the language of the system of the Mahdi, the language we want. Excellent. Fethullah Hodja touches on these matters from time to time, but this is the first time recently that he has made such a formal statement. Very good.

(As the tension continues between the Iraqi Army and Peshmurga forces loyal to the Kurdish regional administration, Shiite imams issued a fatwa saying it was a sin to fight against the Kurds. The fatwa contained the words, “Iraqi troops who die fighting the Kurds will not be regarded as martyrs.”)

Masha’Allah. That is quite right, of course. It is a sin for Muslims to kill Muslims. A total disgrace.

Paradise is described at length in the Qur’an. Almighty Allah means that “Paradise is there for you in the hereafter, but you must produce such a high-quality system in this world that this world becomes like paradise for you.” Women must be nice to look at, young people must be nice to look at, and tables prepared for guests, pillows, couches, homes, rivers, forests and everything must be nice to look at. You must greet one another and speak together. There must be no pain or suffering or war. There is no war or terror in paradise. There is no conflict or ugly words. Does Allah not want this in this world? Yes, He does. “Do this in this world, too,” He says. “I will help you,” He says and we are striving to that end. Paradise in this world, paradise in the hereafter.

(Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan head of state, has again been diagnosed with cancer.)

They may not be able to treat him there. He could come to Turkey because Chavez is also awaiting the Mahdi. That is why I like him. They should bring him to Turkey right away by air-ambulance. Treatment is excellent in Turkey. We will take an interest, it will be really excellent. They obviously have been unable to resolve it there. The technique is wrong. They must do something. I am inviting him.

(In response to an e-mail from a viewer saying; “According to the Torah, everyone must either be Jews or else the slaves of the Jews. According to the Torah, the Jewish people will be made superior to everyone else with the coming of the Mahdi.”)

You understand nothing of the Torah and are unable to interpret it. For one thing, the Torah does not contradict the Qur’an. There are inconsistent passages, but they have been distorted, but the Qur’an and the Torah confirm one another on the main issues. For example, Almighty Allah makes references in Qur’an to the subject of the Prophet Jesus (as), Mahdi (pbuh). There are references to global sovereignty. The commandments in the Torah also appear in the Qur’an. The same provisions. Look, the provision about sovereignty is the same in the Torah and the Qur’an. You say: “According to the Torah, everyone must either be Jews or else the slaves of the Jews.” The Torah says that everyone will be Muslims. It does not say they will be Jews. It says they will believe. Will not everyone believe in the time of the Mahdi (pbuh) and the King Messiah?  According to the Qur’an, Allah says that when Jesus the Messiah comes, He will leave nobody who does not believe. They will all believe, He says. Is that in agreement with the Torah? Yes, it is. Everyone will be Muslims. It does not say they will be Jews. According to their current beliefs, there are Jews and there are the followers of Noah. They also regard the latter as believers. The Jews regard Muslims as followers of Noah. What does that mean? As believers. They regard them as Muslims who follow the Prophet Noah (pbuh).

You say: “According to the Torah, the Jewish people will be made superior to everyone else…”  Muslims will be made superior to everyone else. That is what it says in the Torah, the Messiah and his followers, in other words. The King Messiah, the Mahdi (pbuh) and his followers will be superior. In what way? In political, militarily and all ways. That  is the provision in the Qur’an. And that is what it says in the Qur’an. They will have sovereignty. Apart from that, it is unclear in this world who will go to paradise and who will go to hell. Why should there be any pretensions to superiority? Which Muslims will go to paradise, and which will go to hell? It will be on the basis of faith, the faith one has at the last moment. So there is no guarantee. There is no such guarantee in the Qur’an or the Torah. You are misinformed.

Lack of quality and lovelessness are the greatest foes of the Islamic world, the greatest opponents. Lack of quality and lovelessness are instrumental in the appearance of people who are full of hate and want to kill and wound others, aggressive people with the souls of terrorists, and the result, may Allah forbid, is ghettos in local areas. Ghettos of hatred. People of hate. This is very dangerous. The government must make effort as a matter of state in order for quality and love to grow.
