Surat al-Anbiya’, 1-“Mankind’s Reckoning has drawn very close to them,” In other words, their death, the Day of Reckoning, has drawn close, “…yet they heedlessly turn away.” They foolishly concentrate on this world, on getting married, work, school industry and the like. “...they heedlessly turn away,” He says. Allah says they do not bother with Him. He says they are not interested in Him. 2- “No fresh reminder comes to them from their Lord without their listening to it as if it was a game.” They look at things as sources of amusement. They refuse to comprehend. Allah says they are unwilling to understand the truth. “Their hearts are distracted.” They are more interested in Facebook. Or their schools and girlfriends. “Those who do wrong confer together secretly, saying, ‘Is this man anything but a human being like yourselves?” They say he is just an ordinary human being, that there is nothing extraordinary about him. “Do you succumb to magic with your eyes wide open?” In other words, why are you so influenced by him? Meaning the Prophet (saas). They will also ask why others are so influenced by Hazrat Mahdi (as) and will say that he is just an ordinary person. Say: ‘My Lord knows what is said in heaven and earth. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.’ Allah says He knows everything. "...they say, ‘A muddled jumble of dreams!’ and, ‘He has invented it!’ and, ‘He is a poet!’ and, ‘Let him bring us a Sign like those sent to previous peoples.’” That is what they say about our Prophet (saas). Interpreted in terms of the End Times, there are hadiths about the way of the Mahdi. People refer to that as a muddle of dreams. They say you are dreaming. They say, “He has made it up himself, these things are fantasies.” I say these things have all come about word for word. “That is as may be” they say. They say he is a poet, that he speaks fine words, but that there is no truth in them. Surat al-Furqan, 30- “My Lord, my people treat this Qur’an as something to be ignored.” Our Prophet’s (saas) sole complaint is that they abandon the Qur’an and turn to nonsense. Every verse is very important, and so is this one. We must cling tightly to the Qur’an, insha’Allah. 31- In this way We have assigned to every Prophet an enemy from among the evildoers. But your Lord is a sufficient guide and helper. Dajjals (antichrists) will inevitably appear before you. Pharaohs and Nimrods appear. The dajjal is the foe of Hazrat Mahdi (as), insha’Allah. |
