“Woe to the stinters” says AlmightyAllah.
They must use honest weights and measures. Otherwise it is unlawful. They sometimes play with the scales. That is what Allah is referring to. It is obligatory for the scales to be honest. For them to work properly.
“Those who, when they take a measure from people, exact full measure”
So they can get their full money’s worth.
“but when they give them a measure or weight, hand over less than is due”
Allah says that is unlawful.
“Do such people not realise that they will be raised up
on a Terrible Day,
the Day mankind will stand before the Lord of all the worlds?”
When religion, the Qur’an, the moral values of Islam dominate the world. Trade will improve, sport will improve, politics will improve, life will improve and joy, happiness, science, art, democracy and everything will be in the most perfect form. Almighty Allah says in the Qur’an that “We have left nothing incomplete.” Allah is referring to deficiencies people can encounter anywhere. He described what our attitude to them must be. Almighty Allah tells us what is right. He refers to that in the Qur’an.
“When the sky is split apart,” When that blueness opens up and there is a black void and the stars become visible, that is an event that will happen. “…when the stars are strewn about,” When the Day of Reckoning begins, it will not be limited to the Milky Way or the Solar System; Allah will produce it in all of space, not in any one particular place. If the Earth goes, all of space will go. “When the seas flood and overflow,” Magma spurts up from the sea. But Allah speaks of “seas,” not one sea. All the seas overflow. Magma will be seen everywhere. It will be seen in the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara. There will be a huge spurting up of magma; and hot gas, and steam and water spouting up. “When the graves are emptied out;” Graves will be emptied out under the impact of the Day of Reckoning. “Each self will know what it has sent ahead and left behind.”
They learn what they have done and what they postponed. Allah says that putting things off increases disbelief. “You must pray,” you say. And the other person says, “There is no hurry. I will pray when I am older.” “Go on the hajj while you can,” you say. But they put it off. “Do good deeds and give to the poor,” you say. But they put off doing so. “Do not save, but give away what you accumulate,” you say. But they postpone doing so. That is what the verse refers to. ”It knows what it has left behind.” “O man! what has deluded you in respect of your Noble Lord? He Who created you.” Allah immediately moves on to creation. There is an intellectual struggle between the adherents of creation and chance. That is in the [story of] Prophet Moses (as), too. What does Pharaoh say? Life came about by chance from the mud of the Nile. But the Prophet Moses (as) says he will show him creation, and he casts down his staff, a piece of dry wood; and it turns into a snake. So much for evolution! “He Who created you and formed you and proportioned you.”
Allah is referring to order. There is order in the atom, and mitochondria, in the cell, in cofulae and everything. Allah is referring to that order. Because you were created with a mathematical regularity and the golden ratio and there is a huge technical order here. In the same way there is regularity in computers or clocks; this is a more complex order. Allah is referring to that. ”Who formed you,” He does not say who gave you shape, but who formed you with order. With a mathematical perfection. “and assembled you in whatever way He willed.”
In a measure and balance. There is also a golden ratio in human beings. In the eye, in the internal structure of the eye, in the lens, in the focusing system, in the way the image is converted into electrical image and transmitted to the brain, in the way the image is reconstituted and in the way it is seen by someone. Because the brain carries the image as electricity. As a low-voltage electrical impulse. But a whole world is created inside our brains, in which people speak, that contains the taste of fruit and sensations of hardness and softness. It is created with a wondrous technical regularity. “And proportioned you.” It says that Allah has created your body and soul in a most regular form. “And assembled you in whatever way He willed.” Assembled. Allah says He will now demand an accounting for all this, for this perfection, this flawless artistic structure. “Yes indeed! But still you deny the Judgement.”
You espouse the idea of chance with your Darwinist and materialist mindset, is what this means. “Standing over you are guardians.”
There are angels above you, but you are unaware of them, Allah says. Allah says you are carrying two spirits above you, insha’Allah. “Noble, recording, who know what you do.”
They record what you do at every moment. These are two conscious superhuman spirits, in other words, angels.2011-09-08 23:27:57
