Hundreds of our brothers have written in, saying, “We want to meet with you.” Fine, let us meet, but we can be billions of times more effective by rendering service rather than talking. But fine, let us meet and increase our love. But service is important, isn’t it? Handing books out, preaching, holding conferences, these things are crucial. Otherwise, yes, let us talk among ourselves. But we can never get results that way. Speaking with service is most important. First go and serve, then come and tell me about it. ”We have done this and that,” tell me. That will constitute a fine conversation. But it is no good doing nothing and then saying “Let’s meet up.”
(Regarding our brother who rendered service and sent photographs in)
May Allah be pleased. Masha’Allah, alhamdulillah. This is great. This is grounds for conversation. But it is no good doing nothing and saying, “There is nothing I can do. I am too weak. I can do nothing. But I want to meet you.” Fine, but what matters is what we do. We have to render service, no matter how little. Great or small. For example, this young man may perhaps have handed out a hundred leaflets. Or have spoken to a hundred people. That is enough. That is also service. If you can’t, go and talk to people. Tell them something. But you have to do something. The important thing is to be someone who serves others, rather than preoccupied with oneself.
Allah has created photosynthesis, the interior of the cell and the world with the greatest knowledge. Chromosomes are like an electronic brain. Cells are like an electronic brain. There is intelligence everywhere. Atoms are intelligent, as are cells and chromosomes and everything. A stupendous intelligence dominates everywhere. Take photosynthesis. It cannot be replicated artificially. It has an unbelievable scientific operation and technology. The fine artistry of Allah is everywhere. It is stunning. I think to myself, look at the brightly colored world inside the darkness of my brain. There is no light on the outside. But people regard it as quite normal. “So what, of course they will be light in our heads,” they say. I ask, “Who sees that light?” “We do,” they reply. But who are you? It is as if most people had been bewitched. But if they saw with total clarity, then the intensity of the situation might drive them crazy. If they had complete clarity of understanding. But there is an unbelievable heedlessness around, so they are unaware. I look at TV stations and little old ladies and the like are all totally wrapped up in themselves. It is very rare for anyone to think of Allah. Despite all this artistry, this fine detail. The dajjal [antichrist] has literally bewitched or numbed the world, or 99% of it. People’s cerebral functions have been impaired, so they are unable to think. Just one of these signs leading to faith should be enough to rock the world. It is scandalous, amazing, how people fail to appreciate it. “It is perfectly normal,” they say. “So what?” they say. It would take something like in films to lift that enchantment. Lifting that bewitchment, that enchantment, calls for a knowledge all its own. It calls for special study. For example, they hypnotize people using a monotonous tone of voice. You cannot use the same words to lift that from everyone. You need different words for different people in order to lift that hypnotic spell. People are in a deep trance.
(Regarding Hadiths in Which Our Prophet (pbuh) Saw the Future)
True. Allah may have shown him the future in the palm of his hand. He speaks of images being seen in one’s fingers. He might have seen it all in his hand, like a television screen. He saw it all before his eyes, like a screen, without looking at his hands. What they say is true. These clashes and events are all in destiny. Look, I said, “There will be disorder in Turkey. Things will happen.” And it has happened, just as I said. And it will get even worse. You will see major events taking place in 2012. And the most unexpected people will sign up to the way of the Mahdi. The most unlikely people. Because there is no alternative. You will see. The Christian world will have to accept Jesus the Messiah (pbuh), as there is no alternative. Europe will also head towards a totally impasse, complete deadlock.
Envy is immoral. Jealousy is immoral. They portray it as something quite legitimate. “I am jealous,” someone says. Am I then to say “Well done”? That would be very wrong. What is there about jealousy to boast about? It is as wrong to boast of being jealous as it is of being a thief or aggressive. It is not acceptable. It is a base character trait. A lack of character. An evil thing. That is why none of the people I love have any jealousy in them.
It is also Allah Who causes coffee to percolate, and Who pours it into the cup. It is He Who sounds the buzzer (on the automatic coffee-maker). Allah creates all these lovely things in our brains. Everything. They are all in destiny. These lovely things spoke with me before they were even born. That was their destiny. Destiny is immutable. Where they will live and what they will be, may Allah grant them long lives, is all set out in destiny, as it is for all of us.
Religion and tribulations go hand in hand. Paradise is not easy to attain. They must know that.
Jesus the Messiah (pbuh) and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) are now at work. This is a matter that some people fail to understand. These developments surpass human reason. Something extraordinary is going on. All of Europe is collapsing. The Turkish economy has leaped forward. It has become the most advanced country. Something wondrous has happened. The most fanatical communist organization afflicted the Muslim Turkish nation. That is a marvel. The most fanatical members of the alleged organization Ergenekon came from Turkey. That is also a marvel. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) has appeared from Turkey. Other things have also happened. But that is all I shall be saying for now. Khidhr (pbuh) is in Mardin, Urfa and Siirt. I can say that, too. There are many other things also to be said. Everything happens for the best, and with wisdom behind it. I will set that wisdom out in 10 years’ time, and you will be amazed at the wisdom behind these events. You will be astonished at what Khidhr has done.
They asked Hazrat Ayesha, “What was the Sunnah of our Prophet (pbuh)?” She replied, “The Qur’an.” Our Prophet (pbuh) followed the Qur’an all his life. He did nothing of his own invention. The pagans tried to win our Prophet (pbuh) over, and there is a verse about that. But he always spurned them.
You will encounter some qualities of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) you never knew he had. You will be utterly astonished. Hazrat Mahdi’s (pbuh) greatness does not stem from external events alone, insha’Allah. Nobody could resist Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) for even 2 or 3 minutes. No normal person can resist him. It is the same with the Prophet Job (pbuh). Nobody could resist him for 2 or 3 minutes even. These are qualities you will learn about later, insha’Allah.
(About the hadith concerning Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) always looking younger than his age)
But not in the sense of superstitious nonsense, of course. I mean, he is still a normal human being. He will reach the age of 60, but look 40. He will still look 40 when he reaches the age of 70. He will be fit. That is what the hadith means. But there is no question of him living as a phantom in a cave for hundreds of years and then suddenly appearing before people. It is wrong to change truth into superstition. They must not turn truth into superstition. That means assaulting Islam. It means being in the ranks of satan. May Allah forbid. No Muslim would do that deliberately, but Muslims still have a responsibility to act rationally.
Our Prophet (pbuh) says in a hadith that, “70,000 bigots wearing turbans will stand in the ranks of the dajjal against Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).” In other words, they will say that, “Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) does not exist.” Seventy thousand bigots will engage in activities intended to in some way eliminate Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). The hadith is quite explicit on that.2011-10-26 21:51:01
