The Wholly Story: Hyena

To show that hyenas are related to cats and not dogs may seem surprising; actually there are many other animals that have a very different appearance but have a genetic similarity. For example, the sea cow, elephant and field mouse have similar genetic characteristics. But the sea cow is a mammal that lives in the water, the elephant is a gigantic land mammal and the field mouse is a land mammal many times smaller than an elephant.

In this documentary about the lives of hyenas, some evolutionist speculations are made based on the genetic similarity between these animals and cats. It was stated that even if hyenas resemble dogs, they are close to cats.

The sea cow is an herbivore, the elephant is an herbivore and the mouse is a rodent. That is, although these animals are very different from the point of view of what they eat, where they live and their size, evolutionists have accepted the dogma that they are relatives descended from one ancestor. No matter how untenable this genetic relation is that they established, evolutionists accept it blindly.

The fact that some creatures have common genes does not mean that they evolved from a common ancestor; it shows that they have a common design. It is inevitable that the same structures are used in things designed for the same purpose. For example, computers designed by human beings have similar chips in their make-up. Different computers are basically dependent on the same chips. Genes are like this: they are found in every living thing, and store the physical and physiological characteristics of the organism. The fact chips are found in all computers does not show that one computer evolved from another. Indeed, each of them was designed individually by an engineer. Genes and conscious design are created structures. The common design in living things shows that they were created by a Creator. Almighty God created each of the animal groups separately.

In the program there was a story about the origin of hyenas: Long ago, the uneaten bones of animals hunted by Felidae were seen everywhere. For the bones to be cleaned this animal had to feed on these bones. At that time, it is believed that hyenas began to eat bones and their evolution began.

This story is told focusing on the fact that the hyenas jaw is strong enough to break bones. Although there is no scientific proof that this ability developed through evolution, imaginary hyena evolution, again on an imaginary basis, is rewound just like a film and speculations are made about its beginning. Certainly these fantastic claims are far removed from science; they are unread tales founded completely on prejudice. According to this logic, it is possible to create stories such as this one: In the hold days there were not herbivores and everywhere was covered with lush greenery. In order to keep it under control, animals had to eat it. It is believed that cows, goats and other herbivores began their evolution when they began to eat these plants. "

It can be seen there is no limit to imagination. The problem comes when this imaginary scenario is presented as science. In defending the theory of evolution, Animal Planet is telling tales that rest not on science but imagination.
