In a segment of this program about sea elephants, we see scenes of sea elephants being attacked by a polar bear as they rest on a small rocky island. The sea elephants are panic stricken, and in order to protect themselves from the attack they rush into the sea. The commentator says that this escape behavior developed by evolution: "Within a few seconds they display what millions of years of evolution has caused to accumulate in them."
There is no scientific value to the statements made here. Because the National Geographic channel blindly accepts the theory of evolution, it judges that every existing creature together with their behavior is the result of blind chance. It is certainly easy to say that a creature or a pattern of behavior is the produce of millions of years of evolution; it is also one of the most convenient methods of evolutionist propaganda. So, on the National Geographic channel we see frequent use of the phrase, "the product of millions of years of evolution." After the subject has been dealt with- and there is almost no limitation to this topic- the human brain, camouflage, flight, etc.- towards the end of the program, the relevant organ, behavior or capacity s described "the product of millions of years of evolution". Indeed, such statements as this can never explain the evolutionary origins of the subjects in question, that is, they can never explain how they could have come about by evolution. They are only an indication of National Geographic"s blind acceptance of Darwinism.2003-05-05 00:00:00
