This program is about Africa’s 12 most deadly kinds of snakes and it says that “nature gave every one of these snakes their strength and abilities and the desire to use them in order to survive.”

This is the story of “Mother Nature” that we so often find in evolutionist literature. Evolutionists reject the idea of the existence of God and, in order explain the complexity of living things, they view everything as the chance result of natural events, and this chain of natural events they call Mother Nature. However, the evolutionist thesis of Mother Nature and that chance natural events had an influence on the complex structures in nature is completely untenable. Organisms that could come into being as the result of chance occurrences could never become anything other than basic. For example: the configuration of sand made by the waves in the shallow water of the seashore.

But far beyond this example of design, the design in living things is much more complex. In order to get an idea of this complexity, we can develop this example a bit and ask: If you saw a sand castle on the beach where you had seen the configurations of sand in the shallow water, and if you saw that this castle had doors, walls, observation towers, and if you saw buildings inside it and flags on its towers, would you think that this castle had been formed by chance by the waves? Certainly not! Every intelligent person would understand that this castle had been consciously designed.

The design of a snake’s body is much more complex. Its muscular system, scales, smell-sensitive tongue and countless other characteristics are all wonders of a snake’s design. Just as the castle was deliberately designed, the complexity of a snake’s system is also a product of design. In short, just as nature cannot place a castle on the seashore, it also cannot give a snake its desire or abilities. The root of a snakes’ design is in creation. National Geographic TV’s account of Mother Nature is just a continuation of the lies whose purpose is to deny the existence of God.
