Surat al-Ma’'da, 44 (Believers must abide by the moral values of the Qur'an)

(Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview dated April 21, 2011)

We sent down the Torah containing guidance and light,..

This means that the uncorrupted form of the Torah is a light that leads to happiness. That is the characteristic of the uncorrupted parts. We cannot say there is no such book as the Torah. The Torah exists. The corrupted sections are invalid, however. But the uncorrupted parts are guidance and light.

..the Prophets who had submitted themselves gave judgment by it for the Jews – as did their scholars and their rabbis – by what they had been allowed to preserve of Allah’s Book to which they were witnesses. Do not be afraid of people, be afraid of Me. And do not sell My Signs for a paltry price.

It is a sin to fear other people. One must fear Allah. That is a pronouncement of the Qur’an.

"Do not sell my Signs for a paltry price"

In other words, do not alter the commands of the Qur’an. Do not add anything to it. Do not produce idolatrous beliefs opposed to Allah’s commandment.

Those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down, such people are wrongdoers. (Surat al-Ma’ida, 44)

In other words, Allah says you are in disbelief when you fail to abide by Qur’anic moral values or act in a way that is incompatible with the Qur’an.
