Mr. Adnan Oktar is always mentioning Bediüzzaman Said Nursi’s forgiveness and his call for unity and he mentions that in a very short period of time he will be understood better.
In the tensions between the Government and Jamaat, in order for the good and the evil to be discriminated between, the law has to be relied on and with regard of the mistakes and instead of focusing on adverse behaviors, a person’s good essence needs to be looked for.
Both Mr.Davutoglu and Abdulkadir Selvi have given similar explanations by giving examples from Said Nursi.

ADNAN OKTAR: Appreciation of Bediuzzaman is very weak right now. I mean here and there there are some writers making a few explanations. Neither the students of Bediüzzaman nor his students or anyone has explained Bediüzzaman. That time will come. Mahdi (as) will make Bediüzzaman known by the entire world. Now knowledged of him is very limited.

Attempting to crush the oppressed will bring evil. Of course Allah won’t leave us leaderless. But in the meanwhile while a person serves the Mahdi, serves Islam, he may have really done mistakes for artificial reasons, with tricks; to attempt to disturb others would be unjust. That is a shame. If that is written in the law, than OK, but you are not showing up with law. You are showing up with great noise. You say I will go on with great noise. Let us solve everything with the law and with democracy.

ADNAN OKTAR: If a man commits a theft, he would go to jail for theft. If a man commits fraud he serves his time for that. Therefore, there have always been such crimes and scandals in every government. This is not something that could overthrow the government. Mr. Tayyip is an honest individual. He is a person respectful of Islam and the Qur’an. He may make mistakes. He can fix it, insha’Allah, but it is important to avoid a devastating approach.

ADNAN OKTAR: If a man stole something, we can’t say, “We hope that his house burns to the ground.” We can’t consign him to perdition. He is put on trial according to the law. Even if he goes to prison, we would like him to perform his prayers and learn about Islam. We need to win people over. Even if he is a person who committed evil deeds, Almighty Allah says, “Be good to those who do evil to you and you will see that they will become your friends.” It is a very well- known verse and Muslims apply this in their lives day and night.
Bediuzzaman avoids any harsh statements. It is the basis of the Risale-i Nur collection. Therefore, Fethullah hodja must continue on this path by living the spirit of being a student of the light.
Our brothers must help us in our cause for this reconciliation. Everyone should focus on settling disputes and forgiveness. The guilty ones would be punished according to the laws and legislation. The guilty and the non-guilty ones must be distinguished between. It is important to settle the issues that cause conflict between the government and the Gulen movement and to establish bridges of friendship and to continue serving Islam, the Qur’an and the Islamic Union.

ADNAN OKTAR: Anyone could commit a sin. Anyone could do wrong. It is wrong to consign [them] to perdition. They are also Muslim. They are also our brothers. If he did it, he could repent. Allah, insha’Allah, forgives those who repent. Muslims must be forgiving and merciful. If we damn everyone who did wrong, there would not be any human being left on the face of the Earth.
Those who steal, rob or raid, all of them: After all, these are human beings. We will pray for them. We will pray that Allah corrects them and gives them faith. We will strive for their well-being. If they did something wrong, they can do time in jail, but they would never cease to be a Muslim. They can do three years or five years time in jail, no matter how long. They can be released from prison but they are still Muslims. They perform their prayers and become a person useful to Islam and Muslims.
