Europe faces the worst crisis since the war

What He Said?What Happened?

Azerbaijan State News Agency, 14 August 2008

Adnan Oktar: The truth is, Turkey is the biggest state in the world. I am not exaggerating; it is really the biggest one. Let me put it in this way; Turkey will join in European union as the leader of great Turkic Islamic union. It will then both nourish and strengthen Europe. It will also enable Russia to improve. This will also allow Armenia and Israel to be relieved and cause the Palestinian problem to come to an end. SO TURKEY IS THE ONLY STATE THAT WILL RESCUE THE WHOLE WORLD. IT ACTS LIKE AN INSURANCE OF THE WORLD. TURKEY IS A VERY SIGNIFICANT COUNTRY AND THE WHOLE WORLD WILL START TO SEE THIS IN 10 -20 YEARS. TURKEY WILL MAKE EVERY STATE IN THE WORLD BROTHERS. THIS IS THE LAW OF ALLAH, INSHA’ALLAH and this is the destiny, Insha’Allah.

Adnan Oktar:WHEN THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS STARTED, I SAID - AT THE VERY BEGINNING – THAT “THIS WILL LAST FOR SEVEN YEARS AND IT WILL PERSIST WITH AN INCREASING SPEED.” I SAID “ this will bring a severe famine with it” and I said that “precautions must be taken against it and a preparation has to be done” and I also told them that the only solution is the Turkish Islamic Union. Otherwise, the world would be ruined, people would become miserable, it will turn into an unprecedented famine in the history of world. The only solution is Turkish Islamic Union. With the abundance, the beauty and peace brought by this union, this situation will be reversed… NO NEED TO WAIT FOR THE LAST MOMENT. YOU SEE THERE ARE COUNTRIES GOING BANKRUPT ACROSS THE WORLD. We are getting informed about these everyday. Big companies are going bankrupt. Our Turkey’s salvation from this trouble– now I repeat again- is based on Turkish Islamic Union and clinging to the moral values as well as protecting each other. It is based on feeling compensation against the poor. Keeping the goods and the money is the triggering power of this trouble. The goods should be used and distributed; the money should be distributed and boosted. And of course this is related to moral education, feeling of enthusiasm, excitement and love. These will come true Insha’Allah.

European debt crisis is worst time since Second World War, says Angela Merkel

The German chancellor, Angela Merkel, has called for a stronger political union in Europe to overcome the ongoing debt crisis, which she called "maybe Europe's most difficult hours since world war two".

A breakthrough in the crisis will be achieved not by "less Europe, but more", she told members of her conservative party gathered for their annual convention in the eastern German city of Leipzig on Monday.

Greece models Turkey to find a way out in the crisis

Olli Rehn, European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro, explained that Greece must continue on its saving measures and now most responsibility is on the shoulders of the new Greece government. Regarding the economical conditions in Greece, Rehn told that this is the worst crisis that has been faced by Europe since the World War II.

The Greek government has won the confidence vote, which is pretty critical for the country in order to receive the EU financial aid. Before the confidence vote, Papandreou stated that what Greece has to pay is so big in exchange for the financial aid and the Greek people will face tough times. He adds that like Turkey that is rising in economical terms, one day Greece will escape from IMF, too.
