Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on Kahramanmaras Aksu and Gaziantep Olay TV dated January 1st 2011
ADNAN OKTAR: This is about the Prophet Solomon (pbuh). Allah makes mention of the Prophet Solomon (pbuh) "We gave Solomon power over the wind – a month's journey in the morning and a month in the afternoon." There is of course a special sign in this as well. " We gave Solomon power over the wind – a month’'s journey in the morning and a month in the afternoon. And We made a fount of molten brass flow out for him." The widespread use of copper may also be referring to an unimaginable technology employed at the End Times. That is to say, copper was used also in the past, both in the time of Dhu'l-qarnayn and in the time of Prophet Solomon (pbuh). Both Solomon (pbuh) and Dhu'l-qarnayn (pbuh) were the rulers of the world. They reigned over the world and they both had a relationship with copper; that is, they both made widespread use of copper. The verse continues;
"And some of the jinn worked in front of him by his Lord's permission." Now there is some relation with molten copper and jinni. That is, we will see it, we will look into it, because there is the same incident with Dhu'l-qarnayn. Dhu'l-qarnayn also says, "Bring me molten brass to pour over it." Another meaning of brass is 'copper.' There is again copper here. " And if a single one of them deviates at all from Our command, We let him taste the punishment of the Searing Blaze." As if there is mention to a system obtained by copper with widespread use which would be effective over the djinns, because as you know also in the time of Pharaoh, they made use of djinns in many areas. The Pharaoh also held djinns under his sway; the unbelieving ones. He made unbelieving djinns serve him. Then Prophet Solomon (pbuh) took the djinns under his sway. He took all djinn satans under his control and made them bring pearls and coral from the depths of oceans. And the public got used to them; they took them for granted. Then when people remained distant from djinns, they started to consider them as direful beings. Now they are restless. The fact is however, in ancient Egypt, the people were familiar with djinns. They used to make them do many of their tasks. Djinns used to appear to many people in their physical forms and they used to wander around among people. Hence people were used to them; but when this is not the case, they cause panic among people. If people got used to them, this panic would disappear.
The verse reads; "They made for him anything he wished: high arches and statues, huge dishes like cisterns." At that time people got used to djinns. "They made for him high arches and statues, huge dishes like cisterns. 'Work, family of David, in thankfulness!' But very few of My slaves are thankful. Then when We decreed that he should die, nothing divulged his death to them except the worm which ate his staff." A worm that ate his staff. First the staff of Prophet Moses (pbuh) turned into snake. In this case too a worm that resembles a snake eats the staff from inside. While formerly the staff completely turned into a snake, here there is a worm within the staff. It eats the staff from inside and weakens it. But the Qur'an insistently draws attention to the staff. Both in the case of Prophet Solomon (pbuh), Prophet Moses (pbuh) and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). There is also a relationship with the staff and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). That is to say, the Qur'an does not draw attention to a subject for no reason. People will see a wonder regarding the staff. There is something with the staff because there is a wonder in the staff of the Prophet Solomon (pbuh). There is also a wonder with Prophet Moses (pbuh). This also holds true for Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh) staff. People will see something about it. There is reference to this, insha'Allah.2012-04-17 15:15:14
