Canadian Melissa Kokkinis who spent many years of her life doing missionary work, embraced Islam.

After spending her young days in doing missionary work, Melissa Kokkinis, the former missioner converted to Islam in 2002 and voluntarily covered her hair. She established a publishing house in Montreal to reveal the reality of Islam.  Now, she is preparing a documentary about Palestine refugee camps in Lebanon.

In her interview with Timeturk.com, she expressed her feelings as;

“Allah created me the opportunity of reading the works of many Islamic scholars and highly educated Muslims. After reading these, I chose to follow the path of the Prophet of Allah (saas) and his Companions. I read several translations of the Qur’an and after one year of seeking the reality, I converted to Islam.”
