FEAR OF ALLAH IS A FEAR THAT STEMS FROM INTENSE LOVE. In other words, it is not a fear like fear of a bomb or something else. FEAR OF ALLAH STRENGTHENS THE LOVER. I love Allah with a passion, and I do not wish to offend Allah that I love so passionately. His being offended would cause me suffering. I mean, IF THERE IS NO FEAR OF HELL, NO FEAR OF ALLAH, THE ENTIRE ORDER IN THE WORLD WILL GO WRONG. THERE IS A DEPTH IN FEAR OF ALLAH. IT IS A LOVING FEAR. It is a very different kind of fear.
9/52- Say: ‘What do you await for us except for one of the two best things? [martyrdom or victory] But what we await for you is for Allah to inflict a punishment on you either directly from Himself or at our hands. So wait, we are waiting with you!’
Pharaoh imagines he is very safe in his palace. He thinks that Allah cannot harm him or he thinks that if he flees he will be safe there. Yet Allah brings him there [to the edge of the sea] to kill him. He imagines he will escape there. He thinks that perhaps some harm will befall him. So he flees and imagines he will be saved. But Allah brings him there to drown him. HAZRAT HIDHIR DROWNS HIM IN HIS OWN SEA.
9/55- Do not let their wealth and children impress you. Allah merely wants to punish them by them during their life in this world and for them to expire while they are disbelievers.
People do not see him as they are dying, of course. THE DEPARTURE OF THE SOUL IS SOMETHING ELSE. FOR EXAMPLE, DEATH MAY TAKE PLACE 10 OR 15 MINUTES AFTER PHYSICAL DEATH. OR IT MAY TAKE PLACE 10 OR 15 MINUTES OR HALF AN HOUR BEFORE, YET ONE IS UNAWARE OF IT. THE PERSON KEEPS ON TALKING, BUT HE IS DEAD. ALLAH HAS LONG SINCE TAKEN HIS SOUL. HE SPEAKS IN A SECOND BODY, AS IF IN A DREAM. IN THE SECOND BODY; AS IF IN A STATE OF HYPNOSIS. BUT HE IS DEAD.2012-11-07 11:33:49
