Islam will truly rule the world. Following this difficult time, Islam will rule the world, insha’Allah. Our Prophet (saas) also says this. "Nothing can happen against the law of Allah.” “Is the rule of disbelief appropriate?” “Yes, it is”. “Is the dominion of Islam appropriate?” “No, that is inappropriate”. Allah has made both disbelief and Islam rule the world. He caused Islam to rule the world in the time of the Prophet Solomon (as) and Dhu’lqarnayn (as). The system of the antichrist has reigned in this age. But now Islam will reign, insha’Allah.
Islam is the name for the sum of our warmest behaviors that most benefit one another. Islam is what is meant by people not frightening one another, loving each other for Allah’s sake, and loving Allah with a passion and fearing Him.
Pork meat looks very unpleasant and unhealthy. I would not eat it even if it were lawful. In the same way I would not eat monkey flesh if that were lawful, either.
Backwardness is really a terrible subconscious scourge. The Ottomans discovered that back in their day. And people are realizing it more all the time. For one thing, lies are a natural weapon of backwardness. Reactionaries imagine they are very clever. They give the impression of knowing all about love and art. When we look at the Qur’an, the Prophet Solomon (as) was an exceedingly high quality person, and our Prophet (saas) was extraordinarily top quality person. His language, life style, ways of addressing people, manners and gentleness were all perfect. Our nation also possesses that sensitivity, and it is a most excellent one. Otherwise there would be a grave danger.
The Prophet Joseph (as) was a heroic, highly intelligent person who attached great importance to beauty and esthetics. His way of addressing people, speech, sitting down and standing up and eating and everything were all flawless. That is how Muslims should be. But they then produced a more unrefined system. What is this? You ask, and they say, “Islam.” “What are you?” “I am a Muslim.” You look and you see they understand nothing about art or love or beauty.
One characteristic of backward people is that they do not love Allah at all. They regard our Prophet (saas) as a savior from the oppression Allah will inflict, Allah is beyond this. They do not trust Allah. They regard our Prophet (saas) or holy people as saviors from Allah who want to inflict suffering or oppression on them, Allah is beyond this. They even dare to make jokes about Allah and religion, Allah is beyond this. They appear placid, but they are full of rage. That placidity comes from cowardice. Given the chance they have a predisposition to shed blood, in proportion to the opportunity afforded them. Reactionaries are most self-satisfied. They have enormous pride and obstinacy. They try to give the impression of humility, but they still put on airs. Reactionaries are also idolaters. They regard the words of the Qur’an and our Prophet (saas) as inadequate. They regard the Age of Felicity as a nightmare. They prefer their own conception of religion.
The Muslims in Turkey are the Muslims who live by Islam in the best quality manner. Anatolian families raise their children very well. They have never been corrupted, amazingly enough. Neither the communist movement in Soviet times, nor the atheist freemasons nor the alleged organization Ergenekon have been able to touch them. They were hugely well organized. One must support the state. Good people must support one another. The good must support the good. Their political affiliations are irrelevant. It would be terrible to withhold love because of party differences. That would be like racial discrimination, Allah is beyond this. We are one nation. Political party means competing to serve, a contest to see who can govern best.
Hopelessness is a very bad thing. I can see that some of our brothers do not understand Allah’s might. They believe in the power of atheistic freemasonry and communism, but have difficulty in believing in Allah. I ask, "Will atheist freemasons rule the world?” And they say, “Of course, it has already happened, so why not?” "Can China rule the world on its own?” “Of course.” “And America?” “That, too.” “And what about the Turkish-Islamic Union?” “Never,” they say. "That is against the law of Allah,” they say. Allah has shown His law in the verses of the Qur’an. Is there a single verse in the Qur’an that says that Islam will not rule the world? On the contrary, there are many verses pointing to the global dominion of Muslims. There are explicit examples. It happened in the time of the Prophet Solomon (as), and of Dhu’lqarnayn (as) and in the region of the Prophet Joseph (as) in his time. But hopelessness and pessimism is a grave sickness. Bediuzzaman emphasized this, the way that where there is pessimism there is infertility, lethargy and stagnation.
This attitude on the part of evangelicals will calm down still further and there will be peace and calm in the region, insha’Allah, but everyone must work to that end. Everyone must talk about Turkish-Islamic Union, Islamic Union. Some of our brothers try to smother Islamic Union and cover it up, Allah is beyond this. That is a very dangerous path. They are reluctant to speak about Islamic Union because it means the system of the Mahdi. The system of the Mahdi means Turkish-Islamic Union, Islamic Union. Opposition to Hazrat Mahdi (as) means opposition to Islamic Union. There can be no “union” without Hazrat Mahdi (as), and no Turkish-Islamic Union. There has to be mass fervor and mass love of Hazrat Mahdi (as). We must fervently love the Prophet Jesus (as), the Messiah. Muslims must feel a strong passion for the Prophet Jesus (as). What a wondrous thing it is for Allah to send back the prophet He raised into His presence after a gap of 2000 years. When I talk about the Prophet Jesus (as) they say, “why do you speak of the Prophet Jesus (as), he is the Christian prophet.” When I mention the Prophet Moses (as), “but he is the prophet of the Jews.” They tend to discriminate between the luminous prophets of Allah and adopt an infertile and unhappy style. We love them all. Our Prophet (saas) is the light of the world. He is the beloved of Allah, but does that mean we should not love the others? Allah will not allow Islam to rule the world without love of Hazrat Mahdi (as).
Say, ‘We believe in Allah and what has been sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Tribes, and what Moses and Jesus were given, and what all the prophets were given by their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. We are Muslims submitted to Him.’ (Surat al-Baqara, 136)
The evangelicals have a project, a project of blood. They used to say there would be blood up to horses’ manes, but I put a stop to that. But that does not mean I have stopped individual or regional plans. The time for them to initiate Armageddon has come and gone. They cannot do it now.
In the end times, the true lords of the broad sphere of life, Hazrat Mahdi (as) and his followers come in the End Times, by Almighty Allah’s leave, and broaden that sphere and cause those seeds to flourish. We will watch from our graves and give thanks to Allah (Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, The Ratifying Stamp of the Unseen, p. 172; Kastamonu Addendum, p. 72)
1. in the End Times
2. the broad sphere of life
3. the true lords of the broad sphere of life
4. Hazrat Mahdi (as) and his followers
you have made a collective personality out of an individual, how will you make the Mahdi a collective personality?
5. by Almighty Allah’s leave, and broaden that sphere and cause those seeds to flourish. We will watch from our graves and give thanks to Allah.
Let them ask that and see what kind of answers they receive.
There is Hazrat Mahdi (as) and his followers, and there is a collective personality consisting of them. You have turned Hazrat Mahdi (as) into a collective personality, how will you turn his followers into one?
How is it that Hazrat Mahdi (as) and his followers are the true lords of the Risale-i Nur?

Everyone bowing (ruqu`) and prostrating (sajda) themselves in prayer will be punished. Cruelty, malice, and vice will be produced; scholars and ascetics murdered; and many cities conquered. There will be hostility to the Prophet Muhammad (saas), bloodshed and destruction will be legitimate. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 37)
Everyone bowing (ruqu`) and prostrating (sajda) themselves in prayer will be punished. Cruelty, malice, and vice will be produced. We can see this is the nature of the alleged organization Ergenekon.
scholars and ascetics murdered :Their policy is constant murder. They martyr our worthy brothers.
and many cities conquered : This is a secret invasion.
There will be hostility to the Prophet Muhammad (saas), bloodshed and destruction will be legitimate: Lenin made bloodshed, terror and anarchy a precondition for Leninism. He says that quite explicitly.
There will be caliphs after me, amirs after the caliphs, and cruel tyrants after the amirs. Finally, one from Ahl al-Bayt will appear. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 84)
Our Prophet (saas) indicates that the caliphate will be abolished.
After the amirs will come cruel rulers; despotic regimes. Like Hafez Assad or Saddam, cruel rulers who inflict suffering on Muslims.
Hazrat Mahdi (as) will not come until Allah is openly and flagrantly denied. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 27)
We see from this that Darwinist, materialist people will emerge. They will deny the existence of Allah. They will ascribe the creation of the universe to chance and say that everything comes about without being created by Allah. They will thus deny the existence of Allah. Some will deny Him explicitly and blatantly, by setting up web sites and issuing publications. That has happened worldwide in our time, hasn’t it? The hadith refers to what has happened worldwide. It refers to Darwinist, materialist philosophies. It is not only referring to posters on the sides of buses. It is also referring to the Darwinist, materialist education in all schools across the world. It is noting that a Darwinist, materialist system will develop across the world.
Hazrat Mahdi (as) will appear after a corruption in which all forbidden things are regarded as lawful. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar, p. 23)
Drugs are lawful in Europe, and also prostitution, eating pork, drinking wine, adultery and earning interest. It is terrible corruption for these things to be considered lawful by a mass of people. In other words, unlawful things will be considered lawful. That also happens in Islamic countries across the world. There are good Muslims in those countries, too, but also people like that.
“O Hudhayfa! On that day (when Hazrat Mahdi (as) appears), they will have departed the faith. THEY WILL THINK THAT WINE IS LAWFUL AND WILL NOT PERFORM THE PRAYER (SALAT).” (Al-Uqayli "An-Najm al-saqib fi Bayan Anna al-Mahdi min Awladi Ali Ibn Abi Talib Ale't-Temam wa al-qamal)
They have not departed from the faith. Bediuzzaman also says that. In other words, it is Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) duty to maintain the faith of believers. In other words, Hazrat Mahdi (as) will go into action just when a great many believers are about to abandon the faith and are about to sign up to or have already subscribed to Darwinist, materialist philosophy. And he will neutralize Darwinism.
they will think that wine is lawful : What do they say? Wine is good for the heart. What about the brain? They say it is bad for the brain. And the liver? It is bad for that, too. And the cells of the body? It harms them, too. When we ask how it is good for the heart, they say, “it contains anti-oxidants.” Yes, that is true. But does plain grape juice also contain anti-oxidants? Even more so, they say. So why drink wine? There are sausages containing pork in the stores and people are unaware of that.
They will not perform the prayer (salat): This is already a worldwide phenomenon. “I am devout and keep myself covered up” people say. They cover themselves up head to toe. Do you pray? We ask. “no,” they say. But I am punctilious about covering myself up. Most of my brothers and sisters are not like that, of course, and my apologies to all of them. I am referring to some people. We ask about prayer, and they say, “that is unimportant.” Not praying in Islamic countries. Prayer is very rare in Egypt, Jordan and Iraq. It is not like people imagine. But the levels in Turkey are very high.
