Surah Yusuf; (a statement about those aspects referring to the End Times)

87- My sons! Seek news of Joseph and his brother. Do not despair of solace from Allah. No one despairs of solace from Allah except for people who are unbelievers.’

In terms of that aspect of the verse referring to the End Times, what are we to do? We must conduct a comprehensive investigation into Hazrat Mahdi (as) and his brother (the Prophet Jesus (as)). We must research and not lose hope in Allah.

88- So when they came into his [Joseph’s] presence, they said, ‘Your Eminence! Hardship has hit us and our families.

There was an economic crisis at that time, in the time of the Prophet Joseph (as), that lasted for 7 years. And there is also a 7-year economic crisis now.

Your Eminence! Hardship has hit us and our families. We bring scant merchandise, but fill the measure for us generously. Allah always rewards a generous giver.’

A verse of the Qur’an indicating that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will hand out goods in abundance.

89- He [Joseph] said, ‘Are you aware of what you did to Joseph and his brother in ignorance?’

There are people who are also opposed to Hazrat Mahdi (as) and the Prophet Jesus (as) today. Do you ignorant people know what you are doing to Hazrat Mahdi (as) and the Prophet Jesus (as) today?

90- They said, ‘Are you Joseph?’ He said, ‘I am indeed Joseph, and this here is my brother. Allah has acted graciously to us. As for those who fear Allah and are steadfast, Allah does not allow to go to waste the wage of any people who do good.’

They have difficulty in recognizing their own brother. Even though they knew him from before, knew what he looked like, they still had difficulty in recognizing him. That means that people will have doubts about Hazrat Mahdi (as), too. They will be unsure whether he is really Hazrat Mahdi (as).

He said, ‘I am indeed Joseph, and this here is my brother. Allah has acted graciously to us.

Allah will bestow blessings on Hazrat Mahdi (as) and the Prophet Jesus (as). “As for those who fear Allah and are steadfast,” If they are careful over what is lawful and unlawful and are steadfast. What does steadfastness mean? It means being determined to maintain proper moral values over a long period of time. Allah does not allow to go to waste the wage of any people who do good.’

The efforts made by Hazrat Mahdi (as), the Prophet Jesus (as) and Muslims will not be in vain. They will receive their reward in this world and in the Hereafter, insha’Allah.

92- He said, ‘No blame at all will fall on you.The verse suggests that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will seek no revenge. It appears that it is inappropriate to seek revenge on those who wrong one. “You have forgiveness from Allah.”   Here, he says something highly significant. I have forgiven you, but you have forgiveness from Allah, he says. That is the real issue. If Allah does not forgive you, then you have had it. For example, Allah tells our Prophet (saas), even if you beg for forgiveness for them 70 times, still Allah will not forgive them. It makes no difference whether people forgive. But if Allah does not forgive, then they are finished. “He is the Most Merciful of the merciful." There are some people who try to teach Allah compassion, may He forbid! They employ the devilish and foolish logic of “Why create hell? I would not have created a place like hell.” That actually makes the need for hell crystal clear. From that silly talk of yours. It means you are that silly and shameless in every part of that silly and shameless life of yours. If you betray Allah, you will betray everyone. If you use impudent language against Allah, may He forbid, you will use it against everyone.

93- Go with this shirt of mine and cast it on my father’s face and he will see again. Then come to me with all your families.

We can see that the presence of Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) body will be good for many people’s illnesses. People will also be freed from psychological illnesses, and therefore also from physical ones. Many diseases have psychological causes. Since Hazrat Mahdi (as) will cause great psychological well-being in people, as well as joy and a general feeling of rejoicing, the psychological pressure on people will also be lifted. So they will become very healthy. Eye disorders will improve. Other disorders will also improve. A wide range of illnesses will improve in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). The psychological well-being in society will be reflected in people’s bodies. Because stress is the main cause of headaches. Stress and depression is the cause of migraine. Since these will be eliminated in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) people will not suffer from migraine or headaches. People can easily become ill because psychological collapse impairs their physical resistance to flu and the like. But a happy person does not easily fall sick. Tumors in the body generally stem from psychological impairments. Hernias are nervous problems and stem from severe tension and stress. Tuberculosis and that kind of thing; you see in films how unhappy people catch it, isn’t that right? Because the body’s resistance is impaired and the body becomes an ideal place for a virus. But Hazrat Mahdi (as) will produce such a joyful, dynamic and lively society that there will be no more disease. It will be rare for people to fall ill. The verse shows how he will help everyone. It indicates that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be compassionate and help everyone.

96- But when the bringer of the good news came, he cast it on his face and sight returned. He said, ‘Did I not say to you before, I know things from Allah you do not know?’

Imparting good news in the time of the Mahdi is very important. What does our Prophet (saas) say? He tells us to spread the good news of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Those tidings will open up people’s hearts. I bear glad tidings, and so do you. Everyone who loves me does. A joy comes from that. The joy of returning to Islam, of returning to faith, will produce a great vivacity in people. The story of the shirt here refers to this return to Islam. There will be a glorious awakening in all of society when our Prophet’s (saas) shirt appears. That is what it refers to. There will be a huge fervor and society will be restored to material and spiritual health, insha’Allah.

100- He raised his parents up onto the throne.” This shows how much love he will show for his devout parents. The throne is a symbol of the highest position bestowed on him by the state. The Prophet Joseph(as) indicates this elevated position as a compliment, seating his parents on the throne.

“The others fell prostrate in front of him.” Prostration was an expression of love and respect at that time. It was later changed to bowing.

He said, ‘My father, truly this is now the interpretation of the dream I had. What will the Mahdi (as) say? He will say you have seen all the other events take place.

My Lord has made it all come true. What will the Mahdi (as) say? He will say My Lord made them come true. He will say they have come about exactly.

He was kind to me. What will the Mahdi (as) say? That Allah was kind to me, insha’Allah.

Letting me out of prison. He will say that Allah released me from prison. He will give thanks to Allah. What will he say? That it was Allah Who sent him to prison and Allah who freed him. That is what the Qur’an is referring to. We see that Hazrat Mahdi 9as) will be imprisoned.

Satan had caused dissent between me and my brothers. This means that some Muslims will oppose Hazrat Mahdi (as) and there will be a falling out between them. There will be bad feeling between them. People will come to Hazrat Mahdi (as) from as far as the desert and other places. They will come and swear allegiance to Hazrat Mahdi (as) from the very furthest places.

My Lord is kind to anyone He wills. He is indeed All-Knowing and All-Wise.

It appears that the way of the Mahdi (as) basedon very fine precautionary measures and details. There will be such a complex and detailed destiny that it will leave people breathtaken, insha’Allah.

Surat an-Naml;

The prophet Solomon’s (as) heart was full of love of animals. It says;

18- Then, when they reached the Valley of the Ants, an ant said, ‘Ants! enter your dwellings so that Solomon and his troops do not crush you unwittingly.’

The ants heed the Prophet Solomon’s (as) words. He has the power to communicate with ants. Allah shows he understands the language of ants. This is a very special knowledge. There is one aspect of this that also refers to Hazrat Mahdi (as), of course. Hazrat Mahdi (as) can be seen to be full of love, right down to insects. We can see how detailed his love of animals is.

19- He [Solomon] smiled, laughing at its words,

This is also a sign of love, a sign of love of ants. That love makes him happy.

My Lord, keep me thankful for the blessing You have bestowed on me and on my parents, Allah notes his love for his parents and his gratitude.

and keep me acting rightly, pleasing You.

So, I am indebted to You for all Your right actions. O Lord, it is You Who causes me to perform these right actions. You create them, I do not do them myself. You create all positive actions and behavior, O Lord, he says. What can a person do? Does he create the image within his brain himself? Allah creates it.

and admit me, by Your mercy, among Your servants who are righteous.’

Admit me among Your devout servants. He always wants honesty. Doing good works. Goodness means honesty. Honesty is what a Muslim must concentrate on most. Allah always refers to honesty.

20- He inspected the birds and said, ‘How is it that I do not see the Hoopoe? Or is it absent without leave?

We also see that the Prophet Solomon (as) regards military discipline as very important. There is an inspection. That means that inspection is important in the running of the state. And we see that djinn will be used in intelligence activities. The bird Hoopoe is a djinn in the form of a bird. Allah knows the truth, of course. A bird cannot be charged with faith, but here a bird is charged with having faith.
