Highlights from Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on 30 April 2011

A9 TV; Kocaeli TV; Aba TV, 30 April 2011

They never talk about Turkish-Islamic Union or Islamic Union. "Why do you not know the Qur’an by heart?” they ask. I say I do not know Arabic. There are 300 million Arabs who do. Many of them are irreligious. Many are Darwinists and materialists. What difference does knowing Arabic make? There are professors who are experts on Islam in America. But they are completely irreligious. There are various teachers at a number of theology faculties in Turkey whom you hear speaking, and they are irreligious. It is faith and loving Allah that count. It is important to know the meaning of the Qur’an.

59- Those cities: We destroyed them when they did wrong and fixed a promised time for their destruction.

Why? For not loving and abiding by the Qur’an, Jesus the Messiah and Hazrat Mahdi (as). Allah says He will destroy cities. With whom? With Khidr. That city will be destroyed after the meeting with Hazrat Khidr (as). If you ask me to cite an example, I will not. But these things are happening now. And Khidr is in institutions of state. He helped Ataturk. He helped Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror. Hazrat Khidhr (as) was sitting on the ramparts when the Sultan captured Istanbul. He was watching events.

56- We only send the Messengers to bring good news and to give warning. Those who are unbelievers use fallacious arguments to deny the truth. They make a mockery of My Signs and also of the warning they were given.

Verse 56 also refers to the year 1956. Darwinists and materialists are striving against truth with superstition, striving to neutralize Islam with false evidence. They laughed at the Qur’an, and when warned, they laughed at the idea of retribution, Allah says.

58- Your Lord is the Ever-Forgiving, the Possessor of Mercy. If He had taken them to task for what they have earned, He would have hastened their punishment. Instead, they have a promised appointment and they will not find any refuge from it.

Allah does not demolish states straight away. But when the time comes. For example, if Libya has to be destroyed, Allah will do so when the time comes. If Syria has to be destroyed, Allah will do so when the time comes. Hazrat Khidr (as) will serve in that destruction. That is the system. You might wish for an example, but I can only hint this much.

60- Remember when Moses said to his servant, ‘I will not give up until I reach the meeting-place of the two seas, even if I must press on for many years.’

Now two seas will again meet in Istanbul. It is the place where two seas meet. That is a most uncommon phenomenon. It is literally a place where two seas meet. It will be the largest meeting place of two seas. This project will take place in around 2013. The two seas will meet during the years of Hazrat Mahdi’s appearance. The preliminary work has already begun.

61- But when they reached their meeting-place, they forgot their fish which quickly burrowed its way into the sea.

Hazrat Khidr (as) sometimes assumes the form of a fish. And sometimes that of objects.

Hazrat Mahdi (as) is very loving and compassionate. But Allah does not avoid blood. Hazrat Mahdi (as) avoids it. When I say that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will permit no bloodshed, I do not say that Allah will not permit blood to be spilled. Allah will cause blood to be shed. He will cause terrible bloodshed. But Hazrat Mahdi (as) and his followers will not permit bloodshed. Allah has inspired and revealed it in his heart. He will be affectionate and compassionate. Allah will manifest His titles of the Compassionate and Merciful in him. But He will manifest His title of al-Jabbar (the Commpeller) in the angels who help him, and the title of al-Qahhar (the Subduer). There are a variety of manifestations of the names of Allah. He will manifest the titles of al-Hadi, ar-Rahman and ar-Rahim in Hazrat Mahdi (as). They refer to Hazrat Khidr (as) as an old man with white hair who helps people. That is true, but he also destroys states and kills people. But nobody speaks of that.

77- So they went on until they reached the inhabitants of a town. They asked them for food but they refused them hospitality. They found there a wall about to fall down and he built it up. Moses said, ‘If you had wanted, you could have taken a wage for doing that.’

Hazrat Khidr (as) builds it. What is one of Khidr’s characteristics? That he is a stonemason. He is the ancestor of the masons. But an ancestor of the mason with true religious faith. The ancestor of the masons, who loves and fears Allah. Of course he is also an ancestor of Muslims. Of the true. But he is also a good stonemason. He builds good walls. ‘If you had wanted, you could have taken a wage for doing that.’

But Hazrat Khidr (as) does nothing for reward. He does it for Allah’s approval.

78- He said, ‘This is where you and I part company. I will let you know the explanation of those things about which you were not able to restrain yourself.

He says the explanation would be too much for you to bear.

79- I wanted to damage it because a king was coming behind them, commandeering every boat.

Verse 79. A ship exploded in 1979. That is what the verse is referring to. There must have been someone who did the burning. A ship does not just burst into flames for no reason. That means that despotism will reign in 1979. There are references in the Qur’an. There will be a system like a monarchy in some places.

80- As for the boy, his parents were believers and we feared that he would darken their days with excessive insolence and disbelief.

81- We wanted their Lord to give them in exchange a purer son than him, one more compassionate.

Cleanliness, one, and compassion, two, are very important in Islam. It attaches great importance to compassion. People thought that Khidr was without compassion, may Allah forbid. But he was hugely compassionate. And immaculately clean, and loving and intelligent.

82- As for the wall, it belonged to two young orphans in the town and there was a treasure underneath it, belonging to them. Their father was one of the righteous and your Lord wanted them to come of age and then to unearth their treasure as a mercy from Him. I did not do it of my own volition. That is the explanation of the things about which you were not able to restrain yourself.’

The two orphans refer to Hazrat Mahdi (as) and the Prophet Jesus (as). Much treasure will be unearthed in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). People will find wonderful evidence and treasure under the standing stones, under the pyramids and under Mount Nimrud in Turkey. These will appear when the time comes. When? During the maturity of the Mahdi (as) and Jesus (as), insha’Allah. During their maturity, during the reign of Islamic moral values.

83- They will ask you [o Muhammad] about Dhu’l-Qarnayn. Say: ‘I will tell you something about him.’

There is advice and a reminder for Muslims.

84- We gave him power and authority on the earth and granted him a way to everything.

The global dominion of Islamic moral values. This verse explicitly refers to the way of the Mahdi. It gives an abjad date of 2017.

85- So he followed a way

86- until he reached the setting of the sun and found it setting in a muddy spring and found a people by it. We said, ‘Dhu’l-Qarnayn! You can either punish them or else you can treat them with gentleness.’

A black, muddy sea. That refers to the events in Japan. The pitch black sea you all saw on the television. He saw it on the television. It does not mean he went and saw it himself. He presses a button and sees it. The verse does not say he went and saw it in person.

87- He said, ‘As for those who do wrong, We will punish them and then they will be returned to their Lord and He will punish them with a dreadful punishment.

Who does the punishing? Angels. And Hazrat Khidr (as).

88- But as for him who believe and acts rightly, he will receive the best of rewards and we will issue a command, making things easy for him.’

That is what Allah wants. He wants people to believe and be sincere. Bigotry will come to an end, in other words. Easy matters and ease will prevail in the religion.

89- Then he followed a way

90- until he reached the rising of the sun and found it rising on a people to whom We had not given any shelter from it.

91- Our knowledge encompasses all that happened to him.

Essential knowledge; from the mind of Allah. We see the same things here. Hazrat Khidr (as) possesses the same knowledge. It is here, too.

92- Then he followed a path.

A sultan.

93- until he arrived between the two mountains where he found a people scarcely able to understand speech.

This is also 2015. By Allah’s leave, the date when the PKK will be destroyed, insha’Allah.

94- They said, ‘Dhu’l-Qarnayn! Yajuj and Majuj are causing corruption in the land. Can we, therefore, pay tribute to you in return for your constructing a barrier between us and them?’

They mean, we will give you dominion. Let us make you rule the world.

95- He said, ‘The power my Lord has granted me is better than that. Just give me a strong helping hand and I will build a solid barrier between you and them.

In other words, he says follow me. Follow me completely. Swear allegiance to me.

96- Bring me ingots of iron!’ Then, when he had made it level between the two high mountain-sides, he said, ‘Blow!’ and when he had made it a red hot fire, he said, ‘Bring me molten brass to pour over it.’

97- They were, therefore, unable to climb over it nor were they able to make a breach in it.

What will the Mahdi do? He will melt down all the tanks and cannon there are. They will all be used in heavy industry instead.

98- He said, ‘This is a mercy from my Lord. But when my Lord’s promise comes about, He will crush it flat. The promise of my Lord is surely true.’

104- People whose efforts in the life of this world are misguided while they suppose that they are doing good.’

Look, this refers to the bigots. They imagine they are completely in the right. They wear their robes and turbans. But do they have affection and compassion? No. Bu bigots, I mean people who do not regard the Qur’an as enough and who make religion difficult by adding on lots of nonsense.

65- They found a slave of Ours whom We had granted mercy from Us and whom We had also given knowledge direct from Us.  Allah says right from the start that He has granted mercy. But He does not say what that mercy, that knowledge is. The abjad (numerological) value of the verse is 2010.

66- Moses said to him, ‘May I follow you on condition that you teach me some of the right guidance you have been taught?’

What is a Muslim? Someone who is always on the true path. That is what he also desires. The true path, guidance.

67- He said, ‘You will not be able to bear with me.

68- How indeed could you bear with patience something you have not encompassed in your knowledge?’

My brothers frequently ask why I am doing this or that. But I say they should not ask what they cannot understand.

69- Moses said, ‘You will find me patient, if Allah wills, and I will not disobey you in any matter.’

70- He said, ‘Then if you follow me, do not question me about anything until I myself make mention of it to you.’

71- They continued until they boarded a boat and he scuppered it.

Always ships. There will be ships where Hazrat Mahdi (as) is, and there were ships where the Prophet Moses (as) was.

71- Then Moses said, ‘Did you scupper it so that its owners would be drowned? This is truly a dreadful thing that you have done!’

72- He said, ‘Did I not say that you would not be able to bear with me?’

73- Moses said, ‘Do not take me to task because I forgot. Do not demand of me something which is too difficult.’

Hazrat Khidr (as) scuppers the boat. And I also say that not everyone has the fortitude to be with me. That is why there are few people around me. We are very successful, but there are few of us, just 300 or so. That is how it always is. Neither more nor less, approximately.

74- So they went on until they met a youngster whom he killed. Moses said, ‘Have you killed a boy who has done no wrong, without it being in retaliation for someone else? This is truly an appalling thing that you have done!’

There is no third person, only those two. There is a secret knowledge (ilm al-ladun) from the mind of Allah. The secrets must be revealed to people one by one, not en masse. People want me to reveal a secret on the television. If people are worthy of a secret from the mind of Allah, I will tell them one by one. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will not allow blood to be shed, but Khidhr will. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will stop bloodshed, but Khidr will spill it. He will destroy buildings and cities. That is a characteristic of Khidr. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will not cause bloodshed, but there are some 70 angels with him, and they will shed blood. They will drown the world in blood. But Hazrat Mahdi (as) and his followers will not personally shed blood. They will strive to stop bloodshed, but the angels are different. If you look carefully, you will see that things we do not understand are happening. Allah kills, through the angels. But Hazrat Mahdi (as) will not even wake up someone who is sleeping. He is exceedingly affectionate and compassionate. That is clear from his name – Mehdi al-dam, the Mahdi who stops bloodshed.
