ADNAN OKTAR: Let me read from the Qur'an. I seek refuge with Allah from the satan. Bismillah, Surat al-Isra' verse 18: "As for anyone who desires this fleeting existence, We hasten in it whatever We will to whoever We want." So what is this fleeting existence? It is the life of this world. If you want this, I will hasten in it , says Allah. "We hasten in it whatever We will to whoever We want."  But if he is only asking for this world, that means he doesn't ask for the Hereafter but only for this world.  But look Allah says; "Then We will consign him to Hell where he will roast, reviled and driven out." That is because not giving importance to Allah is a very abnormal behaviour, I mean the man would be saying this world does not have any aim, it has no goal on its own. So he is saying, the microphone has a goal, the pen has a goal , the shoe has a goal, the chair has a goal, the radio has a goal, everything has a goal, but what goal does a man have?  He responds, "he doesn't have a goal." That is psychopathy is it not? Allah creates such an amazing image inside your brain and this one says; "I am not interested in it." He creates the voice, he says; "I am not interested in this either." He creates the sense of touching; "that doesn't concern me either." he response. Allah gives the feeling of taste; "that is not my concern either," this one says. Allah gives fruits, oranges, He gives everything; "These are not my corcerns either." this one says. "Where did all those come from?" you ask. This one says; "It is not my business, they just came."

My brother, then that means that you are being dragged into your trouble. I mean does that have any other meaning? Even if you did all those to a person, what would that person do?  For instance you are inviting that person to a feast, the man comes and eats your food, crushes your plates and the table and leaves. Not a "thanks",  not a nice wish. Would you then invite him over again? That is why Allah threatens us.

[Surat al- Isra' ; 19] "But as for anyone who desires the Hereafter, and strives for it with the striving it deserves, being a believer, the striving of such people will be gratefully acknowledged," says Allah.

[Surat al- Isra'; 20] ''We sustain each one, the former and the latter, through the generous giving of your Lord" So that means Allah says; 'we will give to those who ask for this world; and We also give increasingly to those who ask for the Hereafter and for this world at the same time' ".. and the giving of your Lord is not restricted," says Almighty Allah.

[Surat al- Isra'; 21]  "Look how We favour some of them over others," says Allah. For instance Allah deems some rich and some poor, insha'Allah. "But the Hereafter has higher ranks and greater favours" That is amazing, there are also ranks in the Hereafter, yet the people there are not aware of that. For instance they are at the same environment of the Heaven but this one takes a greater joy. "Hereafter has higher ranks and greater favours," says Allah for the ranks of Hereafter. That is very much important, the ranks in the Hereafter. For instance I do love you all now, and the pleasure that I feel is really very great because I am aware of your value, I do appreciate your existence, I sense your intelligence, I sense your personality. But for instance let us think of a unwise person, he might only be affected by another person very superficially, his point of view would be very plain, very ordinary. But the impact of that on a person who knows to love passionately and deeply would be very very high, insha'Allah.

Ms. EBRU: The love you feel for us pours from your eyes into our souls, masha'Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR:  Alhamdulillah, Masha'Allah. Alhamdulillah.

[Surat al- Isra' ;22] "Do not set up any other god together with Allah and so sit there reviled and forsaken." What does setting up other gods together with Allah? The man takes this world as a god, then this world suffocates him. He is left alone in this giant world and starts to suffer immensely.  That is because he has left Allah, then he would be left alone despite of all the people in the world, insha'Allah.

[Surat al- Isra' ;23] "Your Lord has decreed that you should worship none but Him, and that you should show kindness to your parents." This for instance is an important act of worship. To show kindness to the parents.  If they do not interfere with your religion with your faith, if they do not meddle with your faith and your religion, if they do not interfere with your relation with your Muslims sisters/brothers, if they do not interfere with your beliefs, showing love to the parents, showing interest and kindness to them is an important act of worship, it is an act of worship just like performing prayers, just like fasting. I mean the time spared for that is well-spent, the money spent on that is well-spent. Whatever needed would be done.
