38	The Qur’an is extremely rational and reasonable. Almighty Allah has created the Qur’an very beautifully and revealed it to humanity. The religion of Islam is extremely consistent and rational. Why would you commit abnormal behaviors, why would you do commit any insanity?
39	THE WORLD IS TEMPORARY. ONE SHOULD NOT FEEL ATTACHED TO THIS WORLD. One must be wise. At first sight, one may feel the urge to love this world but we understand that we are living in a metaphysical world.
40	Great ideals, great cases are not dealt through logic. This is also the case with the system of Mahdi. What can be accomplished with 313 people? In compliance with logic, nothing can be done. But it can be accomplished by wisdom.

49	It is easy to persuade an intelligent person, it is easy to address his conscience. I mean such a person would not act tactless. An intelligent person would be reasonable. It is a great blessing that such a person cannot act remorseless. A wise person cannot run over his conscience, I mean he acts in line with his conscience. You hear beautiful words from him because he is conscientious. Such a person's beauty would mean something. Otherwise beauty has no meaning. That is because all there is left behind would be flesh and bones. And they have no meaning in that sense.
50	Real faith requires a clear and sharp mind. Bigots are after a romantic and sentimental faith. Their attitude towards Allah and religion is very superficial.
51	True faith brings about a clear mind. In faith you are talking about the Existence of Allah. That requires a very sharp mind. I mean this is the greatest fact of life, one that would be approached as the most realistic, most rational matter.
52	Lovelessness has stopped consciousness. When consciousness stops, so would economy. People have lost their enthusiasm, their excitement. They became strangers to each other. They do not have affection, they do not have friendship. When this is the case, pains, troubles and torments pervade in the World. The only thing that could be done against that, is to ask Allah for the appearance of the Prophet Jesus Messiah (pbuh), for the appearance of the Mahdi (pbuh).
53	Scientific expositions are influential on people. Talking about the miracles of the Qur'an and the facts leading to faith are influential. Classical expositions would not be effective, that is because both the mind and the heart should approve. If you do not use the mind, faith would be weak.
54	Rationality is important for people. Their minds should see a fact and their heart should approve. Mind and heart should have the same strength. They should act together. If you do not use mind, only the approval of the heart would lead to weakness in faith. Strong faith, ascertained faith, ayn al-yaqin (eye of certainty) faith would be very strong.

56	One looks at how the other serves Allah as is due, how he serves Islam as is due with love, compassion and intelligence, how he devotes himself to Allah, how clever he is, how wise he acts. If one sees that, passion will be formed as well.
