A Muslim would of course want to be Mahdi, all Muslims should be wanting this. That is stated in the verse, I seek refuge in Allah from the satan; Muslims pray to Almighty Allah saying "make us leaders of the righteous." Muslims should want to be leaders and make good services. Yet of course I do not have any such claim to be the Mahdi.

When the leaders, scholars meet they should not leave it at making good wishes. It is important to come to a result in the Unity of Islam. Only saying; "let us unite," would be a dead proposal. Without the leader, without the Mahdi, there will not be any unity, there will not be the Unity of Islam. First of all the leader should be found. Allah has selected Mahdi as the leader.
