Sometimes God gives a rank to some people, gives them power, gives them means. You would not be a person of guidance if you say, "Why did God give him such a rank? Why did He give that person that easiness?" A person who -May God forbid - questions God would not be a person of guidance. One should say, "There is a goodness, a benevolence behind this. God knows but I don't."
The wisdom of the Qur'an is crucially important. One needs to concentrate on it. Or else you can read many verses in ten minutes if you like. You can read the Qur'an rapidly but the Qur'an is a Book that should be read in an orderly manner and by pondering upon it, by unveiling the wisdom of it step by step.
God is the One Who knows everything and He is the One Who establishes the commands. And God is Wise, there is wisdom in everything He does. Someone might say, "Something went terribly wrong." But that is not true, everything happens for a reason. Your mind might not conceive it yet and you might learn the wisdom behind it, either in this world or in the Hereafter, but there is certainly wisdom behind everything that happens.
The way for hearts to find relief is in serving Islam, in understanding the Qur'an, in loving God a lot, in fearing God, in constantly being close to God, in always thinking positive about God. It is unacceptable to not think positively about God; anyone who does that would be embarrassed every single time. One fails to think positive because he doesn't understand the wisdom behind it.
Wisdom is a beauty God likes. Some people talk plenty but lack wisdom. Wisdom has nothing to do with a lot of knowledge and a lot of verbalism. One might be a walking library but lack that profundity and fail to perceive the wisdom behind that knowledge. Such people only concentrate on the arrogance and snobbery knowledge could bring them. Actually knowledge can only be used for wisdom.
When they talk about religion they assume that it is all about memorizing the verses, knowing the Qur'an by heart and reciting the verses with tajwid, being careful about idgham (merging). Actually the essence and the wisdom in the Qur'an is what is important. I mean putting the meaning in the Qur'an into practice is important, not reciting the Qur'an by being careful with idgham and qalqalah (adding a slight bounce or reduced vowel sound). Arabs can do that effortlessly in the best manner, but there are also a lot of them who do not put those verses into life, into practice.
